"I never thought I'd see you again after the other month. The hero of what again sorry?"
"The hero of-"
"That's enough."

That was how the conversation went when reaver saw the hero again, when she came 'begging' for his help. She never begged, but reaver wasn't one to have the lower ground. "You know, I've been ill recently. Vomiting in the mornings when I've woken up." Y/N stated and Reaver raised an eyebrow.
"And you're telling me this for what reason?"
"How do you not understand what I'm trying to tell you Reaver?"
"I've never had any issues before, why should I have them now?" He questioned, showing he had an idea but was most definitely in denial.

"What issues are you talking about? If you're talking about STI's then no I don't, I've had no symptoms."
"Then what else could it be dear?"
"Im having your baby, reaver." Y/N grabbed a hold of Reaver's hand, but he pulled it away quickly. Chuckling, he shook his head.
"Heh, excuse me sorry. Did I just hear you correctly? You're having my uh, my-"
"Your baby yes, stop being so childish."
"But you don't look it. In that case, I don't believe you." Reaver turned on his heel and walked forward again.

Y/N followed behind him, but he didn't talk the rest of the way. It took about an hour from there on to get out of the underground tunnels from reavers office and in that time, whenever Y/N tried to go ahead of reaver, he discreetly stopped her. Ironically something falling in the way, or he had to avoid shots which caused him to stand in front of Y/N. When they neared the end after Y/N ignored reaver when he talked about his ship he was going to name narcissus (narcissistic) but named it Reaver, Reaver stood in the entrance and shot at all the guards in front of him. He shot down around 5 in a row, one shot each.

"One day we can tell our grandchildren of this day, the day you once again danced beside the legendary Reaver, and how we never missed a target." Reaver said to Y/N as he put back his pistol, and moved onwards getting no reaction from Y/N. When they got to the exit of the cave, reaver turned to Y/N and grabbed her wrists. "I want one thing and one thing only." He raised an eyebrow as he waited for a reaction.
"And what is this one thing?"
"Stay near me, only so I have more people to lead. Don't do anything I wouldn't do... and don't do anything I would do...."

A small laugh escaped Y/N's lips as she shook her head. "When have I ever been so stupid?" Y/N said and walked out towards Garth and Hammer.
"Good to see you. I hope we didn't miss too much." Hammer said and Y/N looked up at reaver, who just looked down at his sword then back at Hammer.
"Oh yes... 3, 2, 1." Reaver nodded and an explosion filled the nearby air with smoke, causing a ringing in everyone's ears except reavers. "Now any other lurking nasties will have quite a headache. I've just saved us all, how nice of me. Now I'll be leaving on my escape ship-"

Reaver was cut off as a shard appeared and sunk his ship, leaving him in his tracks. "Okay then... plan B."
Everyone began to fight the shard, and the spire guards it created. Time passed, and Y/N felt herself become more and more slow, dizzy and in pain with her stomach. She hadn't eaten or drank in days, apart from the health potions which didn't taste overly nice, and certainly wasn't a substitute for food. "You two cover Garth, I'm busy covering myself!" Reaver exclaimed and looked upon the hill to his left, stealing glances every few seconds until he saw Y/N fall to the floor in front of a spire guard.

His eyes narrowed as his hand shook in anger. He aimed a bullet straight for the middle of the guards head, causing him to fall to the ground. Both him and Hammer ran over to the hero and smacked the face of her to try and wake her up, but to no avail. Hammer stayed by her as reaver went down to the bottom.
"Shes your responsibility. You cover her and I'll be down here!" Reaver shouted up and Hammer internally growled, but nodded in agreement anyway. When the shard was destroyed, hammer kneeled beside Y/N to avoid any pieces of the broken shards harm Y/N. No one knew about the baby, except reaver now, and Theresa who originally told her she was with child.

"You stupid woman." Reaver mumbled under his breath and with one forceful smack more from Hammer, Y/N's veins lit up blue and she sat up with a gasp, coughing up a little bit of blood. Reaver looked at her quickly and stood up, walking down to where Garth was and where Hanmer assisted Y/N to not long after. When reaver tried to escape, it hurt to hide his true feelings but then a white light lit up the floor, and Theresa appeared in the middle of everyone. She welcomed Reaver and convinced him to stay, only by mentioning that he would have no one to sacrifice to the temple of shadows to keep his youth.

"After that there's a good chance I will kill most of you." Reaver stated, the word 'most' going straight over everyone's head except Theresa who moved her head towards Y/N's weak body with a sorrowful look on her face, even through her hooded face. Everyone bickered at the circle of heroes and Y/N dragged her body to the platform where she would collect the 'weapon' to defeat Lucien. Y/N fell to her knees as she collected everyone's power. Physically, she was well but she could still feel how weak she was deep down. The power she just gained would only last so long. Maybe not long enough.

Lucien and his shards appeared in front of Y/N, but everyone was trapped on the platforms. After making a speech, his guards took the 3 other heroes so it was just Lucien and the hero. "The last of your blood will splatter on the stones of which we stand. Just like the blood is splattered on the walls of your family home." After one shot aimed towards Y/N, her beloved Y/D/N took the bullet causing a heartbreaking scream and sob to escape the heroes mouth, but then he cocked his gun and aimed it forward once again towards Y/N's tear stained face. "Last time I killed you it tore my heart out... of course you was only a child then. But then again... so was I." Lucien growled and shot a bullet once more.

"Death is not your destiny today little sparrow" Theresa mumbled.

Y/N woke up on a bed, in her old home where rose was alive again. Her sister that she missed so much, but she was a ghost in that world. She watched her younger self and her sister run around playing farm games, shooting bottles as children would. When her younger self and sister went to bed, all she could do was watch over them. Like a guardian angel. She heard music, and not long after did the younger girls wake up. Looking out the window, she saw the outside of the farm in flames, and tried to shout to the girls but to them she was silent. Silent and invisible.

The girls went back to bed, but it was like a purgatorial dream. Was she... dead? Eventually, her younger self had had enough. She had to force herself to watch the girls out of the gate, and her younger self run into the flames. It was almost like she had nothing to lose. And she did... well, at least in this dream she did. As she saw her younger self at the gate turn to Rose, she heard heartbreaking words leave Rose's mouth.
"Don't go. Don't leave, not again. I don't want to be alone anymore. Please, come back to bed I'm scared. We have the perfect life here. Please!" Rose was cut off as Y/N's younger self turned on the spot and ran out the gate.

Y/N's eyes glazed with tears as she watched the scene play out.
"NO!" Rose screamed as she turned to ash and the world around Y/N and her younger self turned a deep red colour. There was no turning back now. The music, screams and whispers of strangers got louder... and louder...
Then the heartbreaking words of everyone Y/N felt like she had betrayed or lived up to by betraying someone else, echoed around her. Hammer, Mad-Dog, The Commander, The Dark Judge, Reaver, Lucien.
"You passed the test and the prize is the chance to face your enemy. Take the box, and go to him." Rose's voice echoed and as Y/N took the box, she stood at the entrance of the tattered spire.
