Happy without me-Wi Ha-joon x Reader

The couple looked at each other, in an awkward silence. Y/N sipped her coffee and Ha-joon sighed. "So how long has it been?"
"About 2 years id say..." Y/N said quietly and he nodded.
"Has it really been 1 or 2 years? Well... I'm glad to see that we both moved on." He stated and Y/N nodded not saying a word.
"Do you think about me sometimes? Because I think about you all sometimes." Y/N questioned and Ha-Joon didn't even look towards his ex-fiancé sat across the table.
"I didn't know you liked to party like that. Then you always had a drink in your hand." Ha-Joon said, changing the subject.

"Because you're having fun but I'm not, and I hate to see you happy without me. I should really want the best for you, but i know Ive got to tell the truth, and I hate to see you happy without me. I know I told you we could still be friends but I see pictures of you smiling and-"
"You know, I know we didn't work out but somehow you got me worse than ever. But I don't think about you sometimes..."
"Oh..." Y/N said sadly.
"Because I think about you all the time. It's crazy because honestly I'm doing okay and the other girls I've seen just don't feel the same at all. I should really want the best for you too, but I know I gotta tell the truth and I hate to see you happy without me."

Ha-Joon continued after sighing and resting his head in the palm of his hand. "You're posting all those pictures that you know that I'll see, and I hate to see you happy without me."
"Ha-Joon, honestly, what are we doing?" Y/N let out a defeated laugh and picked at any part of her acrylics she could.
"I'm filming, you're running your business trying to find customers and gigs right?"
"Yep. Still going." Y/N shrugged and looked at Ha-Joon with a small smile.

"I did have a reason for asking you out for a coffee... by the way." Y/N stated.
"Oh yeah? So it wasn't to confess your love and get the truth out of me?" Ha-Joon chuckled and Y/N let out a soft laugh before remembering what she was about to tell him, and her face dropped.
"Hey, are you okay?"
"I was actually pregnant when you left, I just didn't know..."
"I knew something was wrong."
"What?"
"So who's is it?" He asked trying to keep calm.
"It's yours."
"Obviously not. If it was you would've told me... right?"
"I didn't want to."

Ha-Joon laughed in annoyance and shook his head, leaning back in his chair. "You didn't want to?? How can you not want to tell me that we had a kid?"
"Because you-" Y/N raised her voice but then took a breath before speaking normally again. "Because you were happy. It was all over the news and I know you would've left her for me and the baby. I didn't want you to."
"Of course I would, you're carrying our baby. And anyway, I want to be with you anyway we've discovered this."
"But you didn't at the time. You need to start putting yourself before other people."
"Well now the baby will be priority over everyone. How about we start over?"
"Start... over?"

Ha-joon put his finger up and threw the empty cups away, then went to the coffee bar, buying a small drink for himself for Y/N. He brought them over and sat down in front of Y/N.
"Hey, do you know of any good bars nearby?"
"Yeah there's one 10 minutes down the road, me and my ex fiancé, met there. It was our favourite but I kept a secret."
"I had an ex fiancé, but she kept a secret from me too. A secret that makes me so happy."
"Oh yeah? What was that?" Y/N asked with teary eyes.
"She had a baby... our baby."

"She must be sorry she kept that from you..."
"I'm sorry I left her."
"I didn't tell him about the baby... biggest mistake of my life." Y/N wiped her eyes a little and looked at Ha-joon. "And I think I would like to start over on a new page with that man."
"I'd like to start over with that woman."
"In that case... I'm Y/N L/N."
"Nice to meet you L/N. I'm Wi Ha-joon."
"Are we ever gonna head to the bar then?" Y/N questioned and Ha-joon smiles, standing up. The two of them headed out of the coffee shop with coffees in hand, towards the bar they first met.
