"Natasha listen-" Tony begged Natasha, who held a finger in front of his face.
"Tony. Congratulations." Natasha said and smiled in annoyance. "You have invented a new kind of stupid. A damage you can never undo kind of stupid. An open all the cages in the zoo kind of stupid. Truly you didn't think this through? Kind of stupid."
"Natasha what are you talking about?"
"Let's review, you took a rumour a few: maybe two people knew and refuted it by sharing an affair of which no one has accused you. I begged you to take a break, you refused to."
"Natasha don't do this now. Not here." Tony looked around at the audiences gathering around them.

"So scared of what your enemies will do to you. You're the only enemy you ever seem to lose to."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean? Natasha you're only in this team because I allow you to be. You know that right?" Tony said through gritted teeth.
"Yeah I know, but you know why Hydra can do what he wants? He doesn't dignify schoolyard taunts with a response so yeah, congratulations. You've redefined your legacy, congratulations."
"It was an act of political sacrifice!"
"Sacrifice?" Natashas voice broke and she shook her head.

"She languished in the hands of hydra, she lived only to read your letters. She looks at you and thinks god what has she done with her life and what did it get her?"
"We're married, and she's carrying my child Natasha."
"That doesn't wipe the tears or the years away. But she's back home here, and she's here to stay."
"And what are you here to do?" Tony questioned and pointed a pen towards her as if he was choosing her to pick an answer.
"I'm not here for you. I know my sister like I know my own mind. You will never find anyone as trusting or as kind."

"I know I won't Natasha, let's just forget about it. I don't want to talk about this anymore." Tony said as he fixed his suit jacket and Natasha pushed herself off the table on the platform beside everyone else.
"A million years ago, she said to me 'this ones mine' so I stood by, do you know why?" Natasha asked and Tony shook his head, popping a raspberry gummy into his mouth. "I love my sister more than anything in this life. I will choose her happiness over mine every time. Y/N is the best thing in our lives, so never loose sight of the fact that you have been blessed with the best wife."

"So congratulations for the rest of your life, every sacrifice you make is for my sister. Give her the best life. Congratulations." Natasha glared at Tony and left the platform, leaving Tony speechless. He thanked everyone for coming to the speech and walked off to find Natasha in the office.
"Natasha about earlier."
"What? When I finally told you what I thought about you telling the world you cheated on my sister with Pepper Potts?" Natasha laughed in annoyance again. "Yeah, no there's nothing to say there."

"I love Y/N with all my heart. And I needed to do it. I'd rather they heard it from me instead of the media."
"Why? In case it damages your reputation?"
"Natasha-"
"No tony, you answer me this. Take that Iron Man suit off, what are you?"
"I'm a genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. Let me ask you this. Take off that black widow suit, what are you?"
"Your sister in law, the aunt to your child. Y/N's sister. A member of your team."
"Sometimes I debate how much it would hurt Y/N if I got rid of you."
"I could say the same, Stark."
