"Are you nuts!? Look what you did to his pretty face." Hazel was sitting beside of a teen boy, Hange was crouching in front of him healing his wounds, Levi in the other hand, was against the wall looking how they take care of him after he had beaten his ass in the trial.

"I'm okay, Haze. I understand it was necessary." The boy said it to reassured her.

"I'll fetch more cold water." Hazel stood up after caressing his cheek and walked to the door throwing daggers with her eyes to Levi who was next to it, crossed arms ignoring her warning face, even opening the door for her and said nothing before leaving.

The whole room was in silence looking at the tension between them. Levi clicked his tongue when she left and walked to sit where she was before. "Someone is going to sleep in the couch." Hange laughed along with Erwin and Miche.

Levi waked up stretching making his joints pop, he yawned looking for her and in that moment she got out the bath already freshly changed arranging her wet hair in a messy bun. "Good morning, sunshine."

"What are you doing? Come back to bed." He was half resting his body in his right elbow and stretched his hand to her.

She took his hand and approached him. "I gotta go, I need to talk to Andrew's family." She sat beside him with a touch of sadness in her face. "I'll be back by the evening." She gave him a kiss in the hand she was holding and stood again.

"What I'm I suppose to do without you?" He noticed his question was a bit deep if you give it a thought, someday she won't be around anymore.

"I don't know, use your imagination. Bye, Levi." She left with a smile.

He grunted laying again in the mattress waiting a few minutes to decide and get up. He looked around and the first that came to mind was to clean up to maintain his thoughts busy.

He swept, mopped, changed the sheets, dusted the bureau beside each side of the bed, took the dirty clothes to the laundry, cleaned the bath and also her office.

Satisfied with his cleaning work, he went to his quarter in order to get a shower and changed his uniform from the last day. Arranging his hair, he noticed that it has grew more than he liked it and decided to cut it out.

"Your hair has grown." His mother pat him in the head with the lack of energy of her body and faintly smiled. "I'll cut it when I get better." She went back to sleep. Levi stood beside the bed watching how his mother rested. The past days she had been ill without strength even to get up.

"Oi, midget, what's with that long hair of yours? Come here, I'll cut it for you." Kenny lent him a chair in order to start slicing Levi's hair with a knife. "You look better, don't you think?"

"Levi, don't get mad, okay?" Hazel look with fear into his eyes before telling him she thought his hair was too long making him looking like a girl. "Would you like me to help and cut it?" After that, she would cut his hair once a month to keep it how he liked it.

"You're a mess, Levi. You left some uneven strands of hair." Furlan entered the bath room after he took a while in there. Levi returned a furious look to his friend who then reached for the razor and cut the longest strands. "There you go. You need to practice more." He left with a smirk.

"Finally." He sighed by the memories and looked at the mirror approving himself. His guts made a grumble and walked out through the lonely halls of the building in the mess hall's direction.
