Nanaba was shocked just for a second, then relax again. "But ,Hazel, you don't have nothing to worry about, you are better than her and if anything happen we have your back, baby."

"That's what I told her." Hange rolled her eyes to Hazel making clear she was obviously right.

The trio of ladies were joined by Miche and Erwin right after, and everyone enjoy the talk as always.

Miche had left his fork in the table after finishing his food and clear his mouth, and with his serious look turned to Hazel. "Hey, I was thinking... can I ask for something when you go to Shingashina?"

"Of course... but how did you know I'm going?"

"Hange told me about this kind of episodes you had this past week." Hazel look in Hange's direction, she was already leaving the table but took her by the hand to make her stay. "So I agreed to let you go tomorrow and visit Dr. Jaeger, I asked Miche to supervise tomorrow's training." Erwin thrown an arm above Miche's shoulder and give him hard slaps.

"I was worried." Hange hanged from her arm pleading for forgiveness with puppy eyes. "I think you should really need to go... and also, now that I'm thinking of it, I need you to bring me something for my lab."

Everyone laugh again, Hazel rolled her eyes but let go the situation and also joined the laugh. After everyone made their petitions, each one went to their afternoon activities.

The last few days she noticed that she felt a bit anxious and her heart rate was a bit faster than usual, but no other symptom added. She accepted the fact she need to leave for Shingashina's district and right at dawn she rode away.

Before noon she made it there, the tall wall Maria was guarding the city in front of her, the chill wind blew her hair, the sun barely warmed her skin and the mix smells of the market she was passing through, made her feel somehow at home.

As all the times she came, she stopped for a bouquet of Lavenders and Lilies from the market. She left her horse outside the little temple and went where her brother's plaque was, cleaning and leaving the flowers in the urn.

"Oh, Declan, a lot has happened since last month." The tears overflowed her eyes then dropped down. "He's back," a faint smile formed in her face but it broke down immediately, "but his friends died out there, I know he's hurting and right now I can't be with him to support him. Send him the strength to carry on, please. I promise to bring him as soon as I could."

She stood there for a while until she regained her composure. When she went out for her horse, a pair of arms rounded her waist from her back.

"Hazel! You came back soon."

She look back and down to see her little Eren hugging her tightly.

She kneeled down and hugged him as well smelling his hair. After a few seconds both looked at each other smiling, with the conner of her eye caught a little girl, same age of Eren, right behind him taking his sweater with delicacy. Eren let go of Hazel and with his arm behind the girl's back, he gave her a push forward.

"This is Mikasa." The girl was shy, her hands were hidden in her sweater's sleeves, she was wearing a red scarf which she use to hid her face looking to the ground. "She lives with us now."

"Hello, Mikasa. I'm Hazel, I used to live with Eren's family years ago." She extended her hand to her and after seconds of hesitation the girl finally looked up and shake her hand.

Hazel stood up taking away the dirt of her pants, and look down to them realizing Eren's clothes were dirty and with scratches. "What did you do?"

"Noth..."

"Eren got in trouble with some older kids." Mikasa interrupted him and told the truth to Hazel.

"Mikasa..." He growled a bit.

"Hey Eren, be careful. Your mother won't be pleased if she knows you are messing around. Would you make me a favor? Let your mom know that I came. She doesn't expect me to come this sudden."

After dismissed the kids, she resumed her way to Dr. Jaeger. Entering the clinic the nurse leaded her to an empty consulting room and wait for him. He was surprised and a bit startled to see her. He checked her from head to toe and wrote down in her medical file.

"I would need to increase the doses of your medication, your heart rate is higher. Have you felt something odd?"

"Apart from those kind of episode, and some palpitations, I haven't."

He sighed and made calculations, then bring the new medicine bottles. "This should get you back to your normal heart rate. The fact I have to increase the doses means that your sickness is progressing."

"I imagined something like that." She sighed but she wasn't sad, she had already extended her life a lot of years.

"You're are coming home right?" He waited for her to nodded. "I'm quite busy today, you should get ahead, I'll be there later."

"Sure, I need to grab some items from the market. See you at home."

Hazel grab her new bottles and went to find the errands her friends asked her. A new lotion with fresh essence for Miche, a new can of hair wax for Erwin and one for Nanaba and the last and most important, new lenses for Hange's microscope. With everything, she started to made her way to the Jaeger's house.

In the way she found a little herb shop she had never seen, curious she looked through the window and found it was a clean space with a lot of shelves with pots and jars. She entered with a ring of a bell announcing her entrance, an old woman welcomed her behind the counter.

"Good evening, miss. May I help you?"

"Hello, ma'am. I was wondering, do you have some herbs that can be used for making tea?" She started to wander around a shelf looking to every pot. "Something mild and simple."

"Sure, this way, please." The nice woman lead her to a shelf taking a jar with little white flowers with yellow center. "This is chamomile, quite simple but delicious. It helps to reduce anxiety and relax the body."

"I think this would be perfect."
