Hange approached her arm to Hazel's back in order to pat it carefully to help her ease but she abruptly pushed it away with furious face, they barely recognized her. The next second she noticed what she had done, Hange was a bit scared by the reaction toward her and was holding her arm against the chest and Levi was analyzing Hazel's face with an arched brow.

Her appearance changed into a regretful one and hid it with her palms. Before awakening, she was dreaming about her recent incident, the titan had managed to caught her, Erwin didn't came in time, so she was having trouble to breathe while the creature was breaking her ribs with its grasp before falling into its mouth. "I'm sorry, Han." Her voice was shanking with the threat of the tears falling once again. She felt the mild caress again on her back, and took her hands off to watch at her friend offering a tender face.

"I'm going to bring you dinner." Levi said and slipped out the cart.

Hazel looked at his back as he walked away then turned to Hange. She approached her side embracing her by the waist and resting her head over her friend's shoulder. Hange felt a bit embarrassed by how intimate it felt but crossed her arm over Hazel's back. "If Erwin wouldn't had come on time, I would had died."

"Shh, baby. You're still here with us." Hange was stroking her hair in the meantime.

"Not for long..." She sighed and held tighter to her waist.

"What are you talking about?" Hange suddenly stopped her hand and warded off from her to catch her sight.

The face of Hazel was in fear, her eyes were crystalized, maybe was time for her to tell her best friend she was getting worse and quickly. The sound of a tray broke the silence and both turned their faces to see Levi with a scowl looking at them. "It's not time for flirting." Their faces were really close before he made them turned them. "You need to eat, brat." Both were blushing at his comment. Hazel now came closer to where he had left the tray hoping that Hange forget their conversation.

"What!?" Hazel turned to see the other two when Hange screamed to Levi. "Jealous, shorty?" Levi was looking straight to her with his boring face, then clicked his tongue. He came closer to Haze and sat beside her supervising she ate everything.

"Are you going to tell us what happen or what?" Levi was serious, but also concerned and wanted to know why she was so down before.

While eating, Hazel had to tell how in order to save Rose had to fight a titan excluding the fact she had felt terrible lack of air episode, instead she told them that in the meantime she was distracted with the first one almost got caught by another titan, but Erwin save her just in time. Even though she was saved, the rush of emotions and stress had taken over her leaving her body tired.

Hazel had finished her dinner when she asked them about how had gone with the traps test. She got notified that they had lost soldiers in the attempt. Roger had been one of them, he was the one that had been attacked in the woods when they were looking for titans to attract them to the clear. He had sacrificed himself to save Rose from being eaten.

"Damn it. I'm sorry, Levi. I know you were good mates." She stroked his hair and got sight that in his hands he had a badge patch with dried blood.

"It's okay, he was a hero. Rose still in shock, though." Levi wasn't sad, but his voice showed nostalgy.

"The poor thing couldn't move." She now understood why she was so off, she saw how her best friend took her place and die. Suddenly, Hazel felt a weird sensation in the top of her stomach and a disgusting taste in her mouth starting to salivate a lot. She took the water and drank it fast trying to get rid of the bad taste, without success. She had to stood quickly and get down from the cart leaning beside the wheel and finally throwing up.
