"Come in, little one!" Hazel was just about to knock on the door when she heard Miche's grave voice from the inside. Opening the door she made her way in with an arched brow. Nanaba was cursing under her breathe on the opposite side of the desk and Miche was smiling combing his mustache. "I told you it was her, you owe me a new lotion."

"That's not fair if you have the nicest sense of smell." Hazel came and sat next to Nanaba.

"See? You're a cheater. Hey, how are you?" Nanaba let go her frowned face and put on a concerned one.

"Well, nothing new really. Look!" She didn't wanted to worried any more people with her health state, so she change the topic. She grabbed the military green shirt for Miche and gave it to him.

"Hmm, it's perfect. Thank you, Hazel, but why?"

"I was just shopping spree with Hange. Nanaba, what do you think?" Hazel modeled the blouse she brought for her.

"Wow, it's beautiful. Thank you, girl." Nanaba approached her friend and gave her a kiss on the cheek in gratefulness. "I want to have an important occasion to use it already." She took it from Hazel and looked at it closely.

"Maybe Miche could fix that." Both looked at her puzzled. "You know, in return for that lotion she owes you, you could take her out for a dinner." Hazel was looking at Miche, but in the mean time she was giving the lotion she had brought for him to Nanaba without him noticing. Miche was slightly blushing and Nanaba was more than red looking to her hands on her lap with the lotion bottle. "Well keep working. I'm glad you liked your gifts." Hazel ran off the tension she created and giggled once in the hall going to her new stop.

Hazel entered Erwin's office with a smile in her face. "Hello, Commander." Erwin looked up and seeing it was her, he stood from the desk and came quickly to her. Her smile faded watching him approaching.

The first thing he did was hugged her. "If you say that you're fine, I'm going to make you to leave the headquarters and go back to Shingashina." Erwin threatened her with harsh voice before she could say that she was fine, but his hug was caring. He parted and look down at her concerned and with a sad look.

"Ugh, I hate how alike you are from my brother." She said with nostalgy and lightly smirked.

"I hope in the good way." She nodded and Erwin invite her to sit in the desk in front of him to chat. "Did the doctor told you anymore?"

"I guess you talked to Levi. I need to restrict my ingest in fluids, no efforts, sleep and eat well, relative rest, take the meds even if they not work like before."

"He didn't say much. But it's out of question that you have to retire."

"Oh, com'on! I don't need to completely retire, I could supervise or do something, the I would die from depression not from a heart arrest. Besides, I don't want to leave." Hazel complained with puppy eyes and sunk in her seat.

Erwin pinched the bridge of his nose furrowing. "Hazel, you think that after all you've done here I was going to throw you way?" He looked at her again more calm. "We'll see what you can do later, I need to prepare my speech for tomorrow."

Hazel was also more relaxed smiling at him. "It'll be fine, don't worry I'll be there supporting you."

"Levi told me, you wouldn't go so you can rest." He rose his big eye brow to her accusingly.

"He's mad, of course I'm going." She stood from her seat and remember the shit she had on her hands. "There you go, now you have something to wear tomorrow. It matches your eyes."

He stood to unfold the shirt in front of him and smiled stroking the top of her head leaving her hair messy. "Thanks."

"I'll leave you now." She walked toward the door and suddenly stopped with the doorknob in hand. "Erwin, do you think the walls are meant to hold us from the titans?" He looked at her confused and taken by surprise. "Do you think that they are the real enemy?" She waited a bit thinking about what the doctor revealed to her and seconds after, she snapped out her thoughts. "Never mind, keep doing your speech. Have a nice evening."

Hazel walked back to the office with her mind in the clouds.

"Be careful who you trust, there are people who don't are what it seems. Like me. But I decided to trust you, you will know what to do with this precious information."

She entered leaving the memory of Dr. Grisha to find Levi sat in the couch deep in sleep, his head slightly hanging to the back rest, and in his hands was the cloth of white silk she brought. She came to him from the back of the couch and leaned to kiss him softly on the fore head making him opened his eyes a bit drowsy.

"Hey." He murmured before yawning and straighten his back, his joints popping when he stretched. He looked at his hands realizing he was holding the silky cloth. She rounded the coach and sat beside him passing her arm behind his back , both legs over his lap and rested her head on his shoulder. He cupped her back with his arm and rest his head over hers staying comfortable. "I miss you."

"I miss you too, Levi." She turned her head up and reached for his lips. Their lips already knew each other moving in sync until she had to part away faintly gasping for air. He caressed her cheek and set apart a lock of hair, leaving it behind her ear while looking straight in her eyes. "I'm a bit tired, what do you say if you take a shower and we can rest properly? You look also a bit tired."

"Whatever you say, brat." He left a quick kiss on her lips and moved into the room. His eye bags didn't lied, he hadn't been sleeping again.

Hazel watch him leave and when she was about to stood, the spread papers on the coffee table called her attention. She took them to arrange them into a pile. She didn't meant to pry, but it caught her attention the names that were wrote. There were the files of Levi's squad, if they weren't dead they had quitted from the special operations squad. She sighed feeling frustrated for him and went to the room turning the lights off.

She was changing her clothes when he came out in his towel and embraced her from the back and made her giggled by the tickling drops of water that fell from his hair though her shoulder and back. "You're soaking me."

"You didn't care that other day." He teased her speaking in her ear and caressing her neck with his nose a bit sending a shiver to her body. He noticed and formed a fainted smile against her skin, then let her go so he could search for his clean clothes.

She saw him with the corner of her eyes and smile sheepishly before going to the bathroom and cleaned her face and brushed her teeth. Impatiently she reached the bed, where Levi waited laid on one side looking at her, and she crawled on the mattress until she was by his side and he covered her with the sheet.

Using his arm as a pillow, she made her body the closest to his as she could, tangling their legs. She started to run her fingers over his arms tracing the lines of muscles that were so defined, watching the path she made, moving to his shoulder and his torso.

He had already closed his eyes but wasn't asleep. "What are you doing?" He caught her hand to stopped her.

"When did you became this grown up man?" Her voice was faint but full of admiration.

He growled under his breathe, internally embarrassed and slightly opened his eyes. "The same time you became a woman, Haze." He let go of her hand and placed his on the side of her face, fondling her freckled cheek with his thumb making her smile.

"I love you, sunshine. Have good dreams."

"Hmmh"By the tiredness, he fell asleep quickly leaving Hazel looking at his peacefulface and minutes later she did too.
