"You think they are ready for tomorrow?" Hazel asked from the couch while arranging the last reports before leaving for tomorrow's expedition. She was grateful that this particular day she had been feeling good, because she had spent most of her time with Levi making their paperwork at the office. The last week she tried to not put too much effort at the trainings, leaving the squad leaders in charge while she watched from her bench and when not in training she was at Erwin's office discussing new strategies and making theories. Levi and Hange would be the first ones to notice that something was odd, but for her luck, both were extremely busy this week to caught her pretending.

"They are ready." Levi muttered from the desk writing down quickly his reports before standing up to came closer to her. His face showed how tired he was for the hard training of his new special squad. He sat beside her and rest his head over her shoulder for her to stroke his hair easing him.

"And you?" She heard him clicking his tongue. "I'm serious." He sat straight looking at her with bored eyes. "You need to be ready for anything that can came. Not because you are the elite that means you wouldn't experience trouble, at the contrary you will be the one who everyone will rely on. And if something goes wrong, some might die as well." Her eyes were concerned.

Levi took her hands and gave his usual kiss over the knuckles. "How many times do I have to tell you to not worry about me?" She sighed remembering the countless times she has heard this line since the underground city. "Let's go to this stupid meeting, I want to get back already and have some time with you." He stood and pull her by the hand walking in the commander's office direction.

The three section commanders along their each second in command and Levi were gathered at the meeting table waiting for Erwin to joined them. "Sorry for keep you waiting." He made his way to his chair at the head of the table and sat giving each member a set of files so everyone could follow the meeting matters.

"Is this true?" Hange exalted screamed. "The premier approve my request? YAHOO!" She stood from her seat making little joy jumps.

"As everyone can see in the files, there's the approval for checking out if the titans traps will work in order to catch a titan and the section commander run tests. Thanks to Hazel persuasion, the premier agreed."

"You are the best! I owe you tons." Hange got back to her seat calming down, with everyone staring at her with alarmed gaze.

Levi turned to see Hazel with the conner of his eyes in disapproval way and with questions in his mind. When did she went with the premier? Why didn't she told me? She felt Levi's stare but ignored him smiling to her friend who was in front of her.

The meeting finished after confirming the path of the expedition and what would they do in case the traps would work. They set their finals reports and dismissed their selves. "Hazel, need to talk." Erwin asked her to stayed before she left as the rest of them. Levi stopped, taking his grip in her hand harder. "In private." The commander looked at him with sterned face.

"I'll catch you up in no time." Hazel offered him a warm smile when he turned to see her, then left a quick kiss over his lips. When she parted from his grip, he lowly grunted and exited the office closing the door.

He saw Hange walking a few feet away in the hall. "Oi, four eyes." This made her stopped and turned to him with puzzled eyes. "Did she told you she went to the premier?"

"Hmm no. It's something wrong?" She waited for him to answered but he seemed to be deep in thought. "I swear the traps are better than before, she really helped me to improve them." She started to excused herself, knowing that Levi thought they wouldn't work or it were dangerous for people after almost targeting him last time he helped her.
