"State you name, cadet." Hazel said in a serious voice raising a brow.
"Oruo Bozard." His eyes were focus in a point over Hazel's head, scared to looked her on the eyes for a few seconds, then nervously looked into them and relaxed his salute and his face. "But you can call me later." He winked at her with a smirk. Eld elbowed him on the ribs making him bit his own tongue. "Ouch. Captain, if you are recruiting people, I can assure you, I'm the best option, I have the record in slaying dummies."
Hazel wanted to laugh by his silly attempt of flirting but maintained her serious face. "Cadet Oruo, don't compare slaying titan dummies to slaying real titans. That doesn't prove anything."
"Oh, sweetheart I can..." He gave a step forward and raise his arm to place it on her shoulder but before he could touch her, she took his hand making a lock behind his back and kicked him at the back of his knees provoking him to fall over them, screaming by the pain in his arm.
"You can what? Prove it? Then join the scout regiment if you think you are so great. And don't ever sweetheart me." She let go his arm and he sat on the ground rubbing the sore part. Eld was standing surprise watching how easily she tossed him down. "Eld, would you take a walk with me?"
Both walked together around the camp as Eld told her who were interested on join the scouts and telling her facts about them. Hazel talked to some trying to know them and she encouraged some others telling how outside the walls were and what to be a good soldier implies, answered questions and gave some tips.
"I think I did a pretty work. Thanks for letting me do this."
"Anything for you. Take care of yourself, kid." General Shadis waved her good bye as she rode back to the headquarters.
She went straight to the mess hall for dinner after leaving her horse, finding her friends having a good time and she sat beside Levi with her tray. "Hello, everyone." She leaned giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Where were you?" Erwin asked her suspicious.
"Hmm?" She tried to ignored him but the whole table was looking at her expecting her answer while she take a spoon of soup to her mouth and gulped it. "I went to say hi to General Shadis."
"Hazel, why don't you invited me!?" Hange put her hands over the table leaning to the front reproaching her.
Hazel had to lean back in her chair to avoid her, she looked at Levi who pushed Hange from her head making her sit again. Erwin was waiting for more information. "Well, I hope you are glad to hear that there might be a bunch of recruits joining this year."
Erwin pinched the bridge of his nose. "What did you do now?"
"Are they strong?" Miche quickly asked joining the chat.
"Not as much as you, don't worry."
"Why are you dirty?" Levi asked her getting notice of the dirt on her shirt.
"I... hmm... I taught them some spar skills." She said sheepishly looking at the soup, feeling all the disapproving looks on her.
"You're unbelievably reckless. Next time I'm going to wrap you with Hange's traps." Erwin threatened her.
She made puppy eyes and leaned to rest her body against Levi and wrapped his arm. He looked back at her with his usual boring face. "You're asking for it."
Miche was laughing. "That would be the tiniest titan ever."
She pouted at him and turned back to kept eating. "The cutest titan ever. I would set you free, baby." Hange laughed challenging the others.
