Cassidy POV:
I went down to Katie's apartment to see if she wanted to go out for lunch or something, but she didn't answer the door. So I turned and went down the Main Room.

She was in the Main room holding a mug. "Hello, sweetie," I greeted as I gave her a kiss on the cheek. I got no reaction.

What was with everybody?

Is a reaction too much to ask for?

This normally got a giggle or a blush out of her at least, but instead I got nothing. She didn't even flinch.

I grabbed a cup and filled it with some chocolate milk as I leaned on the counter before her, "hey, what's wrong with you?" I asked leaning forwards so I'd get her low gaze.

She jumped, as if she just realised I was there. I didn't like being ignored, and I was growing annoyed by being ignored by two of my attention quenchers. "Umm... hello," she greeted.

Seriously?

She didn't even hear my question?

I shrugged it off, "you know if Liam is any better, or is he still suffering from his PMS?"

I smirked but Katie didn't. I frowned. "Kid come on, what's wrong with you?" I asked a little firmer, I noticed she was now depressed, not just in deep thinking or something.

She lifted her head and forced a smile, "I'm fine," she fibbed. I watched as she lifted her cup to take a sip, and I noticed just how distressed she was. The mug in her hand was shaking to no end, her lips were finding it hard to get a grip enough to sip.

I grabbed her mug and lowered it down until it got back to the counter. "Katie..." I raised an eye brow at her. She defended herself, saying she was fine and that I was being stupid for thinking otherwise. Still somewhat annoyed with her lies, I noticed she had something on her nose. "Uhh, Katie, you've got something on your nose," I informed.

She seemed to jump at this information, "what? Where?" she touched her nose softly.

I showed her with my own nose, touching my nose to guide her. She eventually touched it, and winced. Literally a second later, she fell into tears as all her trembled came out on her hands and her breathing was laboured with her trying to stop.

This sudden change in mood surprised me as I went around the counter and stood next to her. "Katie, what's wrong?" she didn't answer me; she clung onto me and cried. I barely managed to understand half of what she was saying, even though I was a woman, but I got enough to get the gist.

Liam has gone too far this time.

But he isn't a bad guy, what would've made him stoop that low?

I stomped up the stairs and soon stood before Liam's door. Even from behind the closed door I could smell smoke. I grabbed the door handle and gave it a push, the door was unlocked.

I invited myself in, as soon as the door opened I was yelling, "Liam! Liam! Come out you coward!" I snapped slamming the door closed, "I don't give a damn as to why you are so frigging pissed, and it's one thing to be completely pissed, but it's another thing en-fucking-tirely to take it out on Katie," I yelled. His whole apartment was dark, not just because the sun was going down outside, but it was completely and utterly black. The curtains were drawn and with the door closed I could hardly see before me.

The furniture was outlined by shadows they draped on the ground and upright.

My anger soon turned into concern as my voice changed tone, "Liam? Liam, are you here?" I asked walking forwards, my foot tapped an empty bottle. I could smell it in the air, Liam hadn't been drinking a little, it smelled like a lot. Like black out drunk a lot.
