Katie POV:
It was odd to be eating ice-cream in winter, it gave you brain freezes and made your body go into shivers. But that didn't stop me from scooping some ice-cream into my mouth.

Alex sat across from me holding a mug of hot chocolate, staring at me like I had some sort of disease. "I can't believe you got ice-cream," he informed sipping his hot chocolate.

I rolled my eyes, "well I felt like ice-cream," I informed eating some of the vanilla ice-cream.

He rolled his eyes and shrugged, "scoop me," he asked attempting to grab my spoon. I took the spoon and my bowl away from his grasp, "Aww, come on."

I smirked and shook my head, "my ice-cream."

He folded his arms and rolled his own eyes, I replied with the same as I scooped up some and shoved the spoon in his mouth. He grunted in response as he adjusted to the spoon and pulled it out of his own mouth, practically choking as he coughed. "Gee thanks," he said chewing on the remaining ice-cream.

I reclaimed my spoon, "so what does Alex want for Christmas?" I asked.

He smirked as he sipped his hot chocolate, "you don't have to get me anything," he assured, and then he stared at my ice-cream, "except maybe more ice-cream." I rolled my eyes as I fed him another big scoop.

"Should I just get you ice-cream for Christmas, or should I try Snow Cones?" I offered taking my spoon back.

He gave me a 'cheers' gestures as he attacked my ice-cream mountain again. I quickly gained another spoon and we were fencing for my ice-cream. "Go buy your own," I playfully hissed as our little battle continued.

"Why? This is more fun," he chuckled as he managed to get at my chocolate.

I rolled my eyes as I pushed my bowl towards him; he seemed to lost interest until I took back the bowl. "I'm being serious though, I wanna make this once special even if you're going to act like a complete numb nut the whole time. So there must be something I can get for you... maybe I can call your parents and see if they want to come to the party Andy is organising," I suggested happily.

He seemed to scoff at that idea and even laughed, "Trust me, you call them, they probably won't even answer the phone. And even if you did they wouldn't do anything in reply to it, they care too much about their work," he explained mixing the mug's contents without a spoon. He growled when he realised he never got any marshmallows. "So your production is coming up tonight, you ready for it?" he asked as he mixed his hot chocolate about in his mug.

I shrugged as he picked it up and sipped his sweet drink. "I've got my costume and stuff alright and I know the dance," I informed attacking a sprinkle, "do I have any others coming up?"

He nodded, "you've got a couple of small ones, but they aren't until after the holidays," he explained.

"When are you going to be doing the dances with me anyway?" I asked. He seemed to tense up and acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. I smirked in reply and reminded him that because of his YouTube stunt my Dad and Social Worker found me and the promise I made him make. He slouched in his chair and groaned.

"Come on, that's not fair," he replied groaning loudly.

I giggled as I continued eating the ice-cream, then my eyes started getting watery as a brain freeze attacked me. I winced and practically wheezed as I waited for it to pass, the tear rolled down my cheek and he laughed at me. "Brain freeze in winter, never heard of that before," he laughed. I grunted at him as I shifted my chair next to him and, still in his hands, sipped his hot chocolate to help aid the passing of the brain freeze.
