Alex POV:

I went up to the roof late that day to get some fresh air. I was getting a headache from playing my DS for so long. I came up to the roof and sighed as I looked around the city, it was a good view from up here. The sun wasn't beginning to set, but it was latish in the afternoon.

The pool was almost asking me to swim, but I didn't obey, I just watched it shimmer. There was suddenly very... frilly music, like ballet. I looked around the roof and found the source. Katie was very quiet when she wanted to be. I didn't even notice she had come up here.

She did look like some sort of ballerina, just without the ridiculous tutu.

She wore the shoes, and the pink stockings, she wore a floppy black skirt and a half top over a white shirt. She was tightening the ribbons on her shoes and stretching her back. She was very flexible, I'll give her that.

The frilly music continued to fill the air as she stretched and soon started dancing.

She'd jump, she'd twirl, she had feet that were as light as dust, arms as graceful as swans. She was amazing to watch. She balanced on the flat of her shoes and stretched one leg out and balanced using her arms. She jumped and switched legs, and soon started making her way across the whole roof.

When she leaped in the air and landed with twirls I sat down to watch. When the song was over I watched as she practically jumped off the roof, knocking the CD player she seemed to have brought off with her. I jumped and ran over to the edge and watched as she scampered down the fire escape carrying the CD player. I was convinced, I needed her.

I knocked on her door. Katie gave me a warm smile as she opened it, "sorry about your DS if I broke it," she said rubbing the back of her sparkly head.

I shook my head, "no. That's not what I came to you for," I informed.

She leaned on the door frame with folded arms, "alright, shoot. What do you need?" she asked.

"Have I told you I'm in uni studying to be a director?" I asked.

She shrugged, "you've mentioned it a few times. Why are you mentioning it now?" she asked, I could tell she was curious.

"Well... in order for me to pass my directing course I need to become a manager first, you know, a manager of someone," he explained.

She nodded, "I guess that's what a manager does after all."

"I-If I don't have someone to manage than my prac part of my directing course will be put down as a fail," I explained.

"But I thought you had a couple of YouTube stars," she said, "I thought you managed a few of them. What happened to them?"

"They all ditched me and tried to go solo," I explained a little upset, "they all failed of course. But that's not why I'm here. I'm wondering... if you'd let me be your manager for your dancing skills," he informed.

She seemed somewhat surprised, "what... umm... why me?"

"You're talented, I've seen you do the street challenge dancing and I saw you doing the ballet thing up on the roof," I explained a little embarrassed to be telling her this. She seemed more embarrassed then me about that.

"You saw that..." I nodded, she sighed.

"And..." I didn't know how to put this, "I know you probably won't ditch me as rudely as the others."

Katie kicked at an imaginary rock, "well... I don't..."

I was beginning to beg now, "Please, Katie? You'd be a huge help to me if you just say yes," I informed, "you wouldn't have to do much, just do a couple of videos of you dancing and I would just post them on YouTube or send them out to possible job offers."
