Isaac POV:My songs were finally over!
I managed to write a whole album!
I had been hiding out in my parents' mansion home for the writing, and my manager seemed eager to send this stuff out to the media, much to my annoyance at his urgency.
I admitted, I like the life of being rich and such, but I didn't like that I was given hospitality by my parents, I wanted to do things myself, but my manager wasn't giving me much leg room.
Apparently a lot of people were bagging on Katie because I kissed her, my manager wasn't impressed with me and my sister teased me about it when the magazine came to the door. I was just glad that I was finally able to go back to the apartment and the media would leave me alone for a season.
But when I did come to the apartment building I was greeted by no one. Andy wasn't even about.
With my old key, I started for my apartment, assuming everybody was working or something. I got to my floor, opened my apartment and walked in. The familiar musk of my old room was a refreshing memory as I practically collapsed onto my bed and stared at the ceiling, content in the peace and quiet.
...
I've had way too much of that.
I sat up and walked out to my apartment, hoping for some noise for something to be a proper distraction. But when I had gone out, all I heard were the occasional tweets of birds.
Where was everybody?
Why wasn't Cassidy singing like a dying cat?
Why wasn't Andy trying to throw a party of sorts?
Why wasn't Katie balcony hopping like she normally did? Or pester me about my trip or something.
I didn't think I had offended her that much that she wouldn't talk to me, but she's very hard to understand from one moment to the next.
I walked through the hole in the divider and peeked into her room to see if she was napping or even home at all. But there was nobody.
I frowned, it wasn't a school day was it?
I decided to call her maybe, just to let her know I was back. I opened my phone, but Cassidy's contact came up first so I decided to call her to let her know I was back.
But Cassidy seemed hysterical upon knowing I was calling. "Oh my God, Isaac!" she exclaimed.
When I had managed to explain that I was at the apartments, I asked her where everybody else was.
"We're at the hospital," she informed.
Hospital?
"Why? What happened?" I asked.
"There was an accident." Cassidy sighed, "It was Katie."

Katie POV:
My whole body was numbingly sore. I didn't know what had exactly happened anymore, or my mind was too confused and tired to actually think properly. But I was scared.
I was terrified actually. As I felt my mind sober up the horror of my situation dawned on me.
I had fallen from the balconies and I landed back first into a thick branch of the tree. I remembered feeling the agonising pain rush through my body from the shock, but my legs remained unaffected. The momentum of movement over turned me and I slipped off the branch and landed front first on a car that was parked below the tree.
