I landed painfully on the fire escape below, the bars slamming into my leg and the rest of me hitting the floor of the fire escape.
I remained sitting there painfully before pushing myself to my feet, I was alive!
I looked up and saw my Dad growling at me as he went to come down. I screamed as I raced down the fire escape stairs and onto Booker's balcony, I was about to knock frantically, but remembered he was at Isaac's apartment. I didn't have time to go down to the other guys.
I looked to try and see my father, but he vanished.
I ran to the wall dividers and jumped from Booker's balcony to Cassidy's and frantically banged on her door. I lost it, I started crying and sniffing and weeping and desperately begging her to answer the door.

Cassidy POV;Katie was crying.
I could tell this much.
I ran to the balcony doors and opened the door, only to have Katie race through my curtains and hug me so tightly and powerfully I nearly fell over. Her fear was enough to make me scared as I looked her in the puffy red eyes, "please, please, please, Cassidy," she begged she was crying and her nose was dribbling like a snotty four year old.
"What happened?" I asked.
My door suddenly had loud, angry bangs against them, like a gorilla was attempting to get into my apartment. With every knock Katie whimpered and held me tighter, as if I was going anywhere.
"Who is it?" I yelled.
Katie's Dad replied with threats, insults and colourfully chosen words.
"Please don't let him in," Katie spluttered digging her chin into my shoulder, "please! He... he tried to..." she was trembling and stutter so badly, but I sadly had some idea.
"Go hide," I hissed softly practically pushing her away.
She ran into the next room and I stared at my door, poor thing, having to be touched by a perv. I watched as the door was pushed beyond its hinges without opening. I grabbed my metal baseball bat, casually holding it as I did, and walked to the door. When he stopped I opened the door and saw the fuming man before me.
I retreated back slightly as he stumbled into my apartment demanding for Katie. He pushed over my tailor dummies and almost flipped my couch. "Hey! Get out!" I demanded when he started raging through my apartment, "Katie isn't here you creep, now leave!" I demanded throwing some warning swings from my bat. He growled at me and continued messing up my apartment.
For some reason I couldn't really swing the bat at him and I growled at myself for it. I couldn't hit him until he actually came at me.
I picked up my phone as he started opening doors in my kitchen as if she was hiding. "I'm calling the police unless you get the hell out of my apartment!" I snapped as I started dialling, before I could hit call he hit it right out of my hand and it shattered. "Hey!" I snapped as he pushed me over, my hip hit the table on my way down and was forced to lie there for a long, painful moment.
"Where is she you bitch!" he yelled as he kicked me and continued ransacking my apartment for her.
He soon opened the door Katie was put through. I coughed as I got to my feet and ran to her aid when I heard her scream. I didn't get there in time to see Katie being dragged by the forearm, his grip looked tight. I attempted to peel his hand off her, but he gave me another big push that sent me out of the room.
I got up quicker as he pulled her forcefully out of the room. "Let her go!" I demanded jumping on his back and wrapping my arms around his neck and giving them a big jerk back. He spluttered at the sudden force and stumbled back. He was strong, too strong for me as he pulled my arm off his neck and slammed me against the wall by running backwards. I ran straight into a photo frame.
