"Collins! Why did you turn off your camera?"
I stormed into the main room angrily, shoving past people to enter my office before throwing my jacket off of my body. I was mad, very mad that I had let Nico get to me.
Lannister followed me into my office, his arms folded into his chest. "Did Costa hurt you?"
"No, there was just an altercation." I took a seat down on my desk, throwing my body against the back of the chair in an attempt to relax, but there was no relaxation with the person who just entered. Derek stepped into the room, his arms folded in the same way as Calvin's and I immediately rolled my eyes.
"Out, Rodriguez." I pointed towards the door after he had let himself in without my permission.
"I just wanted to ask you a question."
I stood up harshly from my chair, giving him a glare that hopefully spoke a thousand words. I didn't have time to deal with his sappy love shit.
"Rodriguez, you heard the woman." Lannister directed his attention towards Derek and finally made his way out of the room. "Just seriously, let me know if he's going to become an issue." Lannister held a hand on my office doorknob before quickly leaving as well.

Stress.
Pacing my living room, I thought about whether or not I should go to dinner with Nico. I knew that going would defeat my whole purpose of trying to hate him, but if I didn't go, would I be missing out on something?
My curiosity was stronger than my logic and I had nobody to rely on but myself. Well, I did have my parents but there was no way in hell I was asking their filthy, rich, bougie, asses for help. They didn't even know what I did for a living.
I finally pulled out my only dress from my closet. It was a sapphire color that suited my body well enough. It clung nicely to my curves which I felt was essential with Nico. I wasn't trying to impress him, no...no, I was trying to make him drool.
I threw my hair up into a "messy" ponytail, tucking loose strands away with a bobby pin. I slipped a dagger into the pantyhose of my dress, and made sure I brought a gun. I also made sure I had multiple weapons in the trunk of my car. Like I said... Nico was unpredictable.
"Sage." Nico was already sitting down at a booth in the corner of the restaurant, his legs spread out and his posture slouched as he placed his intertwined fingers between his lap. I felt his gaze on me as I reluctantly sat down, making sure I examined every move he made.
"Nico." I returned his greeting and a grin was now present on that annoying face on his. I looked down to where he had placed his hands, and sure enough, there was a slight outline of some sort of knife in the waistband of his pants.
"I would appreciate it if you wouldn't stare at my dick, thank you."
I scoffed at his comment, placing both of my hands flat on the table so that I could get a better look at his looser face. "Don't be so full of yourself. You have a knife."
He let out a chuckle, mimicking my moves and placing both of his hands down on the table as well. Now, we were both inches away from each other.
"That I do. Can you blame me? You're a scary woman."
"I take that as a compliment."
"I'm glad." There was a moment of silence between us as we resisted the urge to pounce in each others faces, or at least I was.
