"Nico... go see a doctor. I spoke panicked as a Nico shot me a weird look of confusion. "I'm not going to help you, go see a doctor."

Apparently, Nico wasn't getting my message because he just stared at me like a crazy person as I looked around the room frantically while my hands began to tremble.

"Get out of my apartment before I change my mind." Now I was convinced I sounded like some psycho because even Nico was stunned at my words.

Nico had tried to get up, but his body wouldn't exactly let him. Shit. I scrambled towards his damaged body and began to help him up, my feet struggling to stay planted on the ground since he was so goddamn heavy.

"Jesus Christ, how much do you weigh?" Nico didn't answer me, but instead let out another painful grunt as I held onto the sides of his waist.

I'm going to have to take him to the hospital. I was crazy, wasn't I? This man is my enemy. I'm saving the fucking enemy. I couldn't have come to a lower point in my life.

"Nico, you have to help me. I can't do this by myself!" There was a puddle of blood dripping down the side of his leg as I dragged him out of my apartment the best I could. "Hold on, hold on." I made sure he was steady while leaning against the wall before I rushed over to the kitchen.

Grabbing two rags, I ran back over to Nico and proceeded to tie the fabric around his wide waist. The rag barely made it around his torso, but I managed to tie it tightly. He couldn't bleed all over my apartment halls... I would be thrown in jail. It's not like I'm already in a situation where that is one of my only fucking options. Before I exited the building, I made sure to throw back on my hoodie.

"Let's go." I closed my door behind me, playing with the knob a couple of times to make sure it was locked before pushing him into the elevator. "Don't touch anything."

"I want to know why you're doing this. Are you going to take me to a ditch and kill me?" Should I? No, I wouldn't even be able to do something as simple as that.

"You shut up. I don't want to hear a single word come out of your mouth." It was true, I didn't want to hear a peep. It would just make me question my life more than I already am.

As we reached the ground level, I continued to try to haul his heavy ass out of my apartment building. Someone was passing us on the way, a weird look on their face as their eyes traveled down to my bloodstained hands and soaked rag that was tied around Nico's waist.

"He fell down the stairs." I shot the woman a fake smile, my thoughts racing and my head beginning to spin. Shit.

The lady shot me a smile back before speeding up her pace to scramble away from us. I hope that was somewhat convincing. I hope she minds her own goddamn business.

As I approached my car, I shoved Nico into the front seat and ran to the other side of the car. "Shit, shit, shit."

"Stop saying shit." Nico's voice was low and filled with subtle groans as he spoke.

"I thought I told you not to talk!" Pressing my foot harshly on the gas pedal, I began to speed away without taking precaution of my surroundings. I don't care at this point.

I glanced back at Nico once, some more blood slowly dripping down his side and onto the seats of my car. Are you fucking kidding me? I'm going to pass out. My car is my everything.

"Shit Nico! You are so fucking stupid, do you know that? I can't believe everything that I'm doing for you... for such a dumbass." Nico took one look at my face that was filled with rage, one eyebrow lifting up at me as he tilted his head to the side. "Don't look at me like that! You... oh, I hate you so much! I've done so much for your ungrateful ass."
