Storybrooke. Present-day.

ERICA LOOKED BACK at her reflection, a nervous smile tipping up the corners as she looked at her outfit. It was slightly see-through on the sleeves with a short pink dress with floral decorations running through it and Erica really loved it, with that she had bright red lipstick and bright eyeshadow.

She wouldn't deny that she looked hot

With another glance at the mirror, she grabbed her denim jacket and shrugs it on before making her way down the stairs with her heeled boots clanging on the stairs, when she reached the bottom she turned to grab the door Erica was stopped by Emma's voice "Where do you think you're going, all dolled up like that? I thought you were home 'cause you didn't have work tonight?"

"Out. Jaclyn's taking me on a date"

"Isn't that a bit fast?" Emma quipped with narrowed eyes and Erica resists the urge to roll her eyes. She wasn't a child anymore and Emma wasn't her mom and even if she was (just like how Mary Margret was her mother) neither of them had a say in who she dated and how fast she moved with said relationship

It wasn't fast, but she didn't know that

She knew Emma and her mother were just being overprotective but honestly, it was going to get old real quick. She needed a proper talk with her family about her relationship so she could see why they were so hesitant to accept her relationship

"Just don't wait up"

Leaving her sister behind looking gaumless, she slips out into the hallway and bounds down the stairs, excitement flooding through her. She and Jaclyn were going out for their first official date since they got back to Storybrooke and she couldn't be happier

Pulling out her phone, she sent a quick text to Jaclyn telling her she was waiting for her. Only to find that Jaclyn was already there, a cocky look on her features that had Erica's heart beating wildly in her chest and her hands were stuffed in her leather jacket pockets and showing off all her teeth in a grin to Erica

"Hi beautiful, I'm currently looking for someone. She's about yay high and is the most wicked smart person I know but she's also terrible and manages to have a heart of gold all in one. She's the most gorgeous person I have ever met and--" Jaclyn rambled, her words teasing as she walked closer to Erica and Erica couldn't help the laugh that escape her mouth as she surges forward and crushed Jaclyn in a hug

"You are an idiot"

"Yes, but I'm your idiot"

"Shut up" She ordered as she pushes her shoulders into Jaclyn, though the laughter that spilt from her lips betrays her sincerity and she ends up lacing their hands together holding them up enough so her lips can skim over the back of Jaclyn's tanned skin before she let them drop and swing between them as they walked down Main Street
