Seven Seas. Then

JACLYN WAS NO fool even if she liked everyone to think she was, so she knew when all hope was lost and that she knew when she had played all her cards -- and she knew that it was a no longer viable option for her to keep fighting. She had to get her crew the hell off the ship and abandon all hope.

She rested her hand on a mast as a way of saying goodbye to the ship she had loved so dearly, she knew it was gone for good. But it didn't make it any better. She wasn't sure how she was supposed to say goodbye to a ship that had weathered her through but she knew she would have to, she had already ordered her crew off the ship she only hoped they would be smart enough to listen and not do anything rash, they had their new orders now to go to a place named the Enchanted Forest and start a new life there

But she heard footsteps behind her and turned around to see Elizabeth standing opposite her and Jaclyn opened her mouth to tell her to go. To get out of here while she still could, she wouldn't lose any of her crew if she could help it, but Elizabeth cut her off with a gentle tone "Thank you, Jack, I always knew you were a good man"

Jaclyn frowned. Not knowing what to say in response, how could someone say something to that? The pirate had done many things in her life that she wasn't proud of, from cheating and swindling to downright lying but recently she had done some good but did that cancel out all the bad? Surely not

But before she could get her thoughts together, Elizabeth's lips were on hers causing her to mumble in surprise as she takes a step back, their lips moulded together as they stumble back towards the mast. Jaclyn was so intoxicated by Elizabeth (For this is all she had wanted since meeting the woman there had always been a certain spark of fire within the woman and Jaclyn would be a fool to deny that she fell for Elizabeth knowing that she could never have her. Maybe she really was a fool) that she didn't notice that the crafty Elizabeth had handcuffed her to the mast, leaving Jaclyn to frown again. Was any of this real?

"It's not us. This is the only way. Don't you see? You" Elizabeth whispered, her face inches from Jaclyn's and Jaclyn started to think that maybe she was a fool for believing in something. Wanting it to be real when she could never have Elizabeth for Elizabeth had never been hers "I'm not sorry"

Jaclyn smirked, covering up the hurt "Pirates"

She then watched as Elizabeth turned her back on her again and hurried off The Black Pearl leaving Jaclyn to look at the handcuff on her wrists, the rings on her hands shining in the light as she let out a sigh. This was not going to go well

New York City. Present-day.

Erica snapped her fingers in front of Jaclyn's trying to gain her attention and Jaclyn blinked freeing herself from her memories. and Erica looked at Jaclyn in concern, seeing the pain in her eyes "Are you okay Jack?"

"Yeah I'm fine"

"So has anything interesting happened this past year?

"It looks like Regina and mom has put their past behind them" Erica explained slowly watching the shock on her face thinking that she was going to get some gossip out of them. Erica knew it was stupid but she wanted to keep Jaclyn's and her relationship just between them. Or at least for now

"No I mean has anything interesting happened between you two this year?"

Jaclyn and Erica shared a glance, knowing that Emma was fishing for information that neither one of them wanted to share and they came to a silent decision  "I don't know what you're talking about. But who was that guy that you were on a date with? He seems nice enough"
