THERE IS AN OLD SAYING: EVERYTHING IS BY FATES DESIGN but the question is can you change your fate? That's the question that Erica Swan keeps coming back to when she is transported into a world of fairytales and magic where anything is possible but everything is a little different than she knows.

Long ago, there was a prophecy made about two girls -- twins -- that would be born from the purest hope and true love that the kingdoms had ever seen. They were the daughters of Snow White and Prince Charming, each royal baby had a prophecy attached to them:  one would have the power to wield the purest of light magic, while the other harbours the potential for the darkest of dark magic and the power to destroy all

However, the second prophecy was kept a secret and it was only whispered about like lullabies that soothed a nightmare, so when the curse was cast and babies transported through a magical wardrobe Snow White and Prince Charming believed that both babies would find them again when they broke the curse. Together

Fast forward nearly thirty years and now in the Land Without Magic, Erica Swan lives with her twin sister Emma in an apartment in Boston and was having a quiet evening with her sister celebrating her twenty-eighth birthday when a knock on the door flips both sister's lives upside down

Henry Mills stands behind the door claiming to be Emma's son and he leads Erica and Emma to a town called Storybrooke -- where apparently cursed fairytale characters live and it's up to Emma and Erica to save them of their cursed state

As time goes on and more secrets unfold and stranger things keep happening, Erica finds herself a home in the little strange town, and make new friends and powerful enemies but Erica wouldn't have it any other way

Unknowingly Henry wasn't just bringing the twins back to Storybrooke to break a curse and bring all the happy endings back to fairytale characters but he was also leading Erica towards the greatest adventure and love story she would ever have, but also one that was riddled with tragedy, secrets and just a touch of destiny

Maybe there's more to this tale than Erica Swan knows
