XLiV. Fairy Reunion

Neverland. Present day.

"SO WHY EXACTLY was I the only one who had to admit who they in order for the map to work? I mean we grew up the same way, shouldn't we feel the same things" Emma asked as the two of them walked deeper into the Dark Jungle 

"Just because we're from the same womb, it doesn't make us the same person" Erica tells her twin with a shrug an a eye roll  "You know I tend to let things go quicker than you and yes we were orphaned for most of our lives and yes it sucked, but now we have parents and while it doesn't solve all of our problem but they were trying so I stopped feeling like an orphan I guess"

"How do you do it?" Emma asked annoyance twitching in her tone "How do you forgive them so easily when they abandoned us and we felt alone for twenty eight years bouncing around from foster home and foster home, thinking for years that our parents didn't give a shit about us you sometimes hated them more than me so how can you now say you don't feel like an orphan anymore"

Erica raised an eyebrow "Because I don't. What can I tell you, I finally have people around me that love me and want me to succeed and while we've always had each other sometimes that wasn't enough but no we have friends and family and a place where we can stay forever instead of moving across the country every few months. Do you remember what you told me the night you were going to leave Henry and I? "'I'm not asking you too because it's clear that you've already set up your life here. You have a job and a girlfriend and it's unfair to you that I ask you to unroot your life because of me again"

"And that's true. You did and you do have a life here, it's just harder for me to let someone in because everyone in my life has let me down except from you so if I'm a little bit slow to stop thinking about myself as an orphan" Emma tells her twin, sadness touching her tone and Erica quickly pulls Emma into a hug which surprised the Saviour but she quickly melted into it

"That's okay" Erica said softly "We all heal at different rates"

"How much further?" Regina asked, rolling her eyes and has annoyance on her face

"We should be getting close to Pan's lair, going in a straight-line course ..."  Emma says, peering down at the map and Erica leans over the blonde's shoulder to see the  map and the red X was marked pretty much right in the middle of the map pretty much next to what looked like mountains and when Erica blinked the red X was now behind them

"Son of a bitch" Keira cursed, obviously knowing what was happening

"How can that be?" Erica asked, her eyebrows pinching together "It was right there"

Regina rolled her eyes "You two got us lost"

"No they didn't" Killian soothes over Regina's anger "Its the camp, Pan's moving it"

David nodded, his face looking sullen "Pan's tricking us"

Emma agreed panic spreading across her face and Erica didn't need to share a womb with her to know what she was thinking because everyone was thinking about the same thing "If Pan keeps moving the camp than how are we going to find Henry"

"So this whole hike was for nothing" Regina rolled her eyes again looking down to the ground and Erica took a stab that she was upset about not finding Henry and she got that because although Erica wasn't a mother and probably was never going to be a mother but she did love Henry as if she was her own son, but she could never understand a mother's love for her child so she couldn't really understand what Emma and Regina was going through "I told you walking was idiotic. If I could just use some magic, we can materialise into camp and grab Henry"

"We don't know where the camp is" Mary Margret exclaimed "Weren't you listening?"

"This won't work your majesty" Keira told the former Evil Queen
