XVi. Deals with the Devil

Storybrooke. Present day

"TURN TO THE right please" Erica asked Mary Margret who sighed but did as she was told

"This is ridiculous you know I didn't kill Kathryn" Mary Margret sighed while Erica snapped another photo of her and tried to hold in the guilt for the past few days and weeks since moving to Storybrooke a little more than a month ago the twenty eight year old blonde has done stuff that she never thought she do or see -- including finding out she was one of the twin daughters of Snow White and Prince Charming and now she was stuck in the middle of a mess, making her look like the bad guy in the eyes of her parents when in reality all she wanted to be. to them is their daughter

"Of course I do" Erica stated rolling her eyes at the situation "But while I'm your friend, I'm also the Sheriff which means I have to go where the evidence leads"

"Which points to me?" Mary Margret asked, disbelief shining brightly in her eyes as she looks over at Erica "Yesterday it was David, today it's me you must understand that there is something not right here"

"I know but your fingerprints are on that box and his aren't so now we have to deal with this"

"Evidence that says I cut out Kathryn's heart and buried it in the woods? This is insane" Mary Margret asked in a disbelieving tone as she couldn't believe what was happening she was be arrested for a murder that she knew she did not commit, she was being framed that she knew, but by who? As far as the young teacher knew she got along with everyone and who would want to frame a elementary school teacher for murder anyway?

All these questions went unanswered as Erica sighed "If I don't book you with all this evidence, it's going to look like favouritism and then Regina will come in and she's going to fire me and then you know what she'll do next? She's going to bring in someone who will rail road you. So please just try to be patient with me, we can't even move forward until we know that the heart belongs to Kathryn and I'm still waiting for the D.N.A test results but in the mean time, you need to bear with me. I have to ask you a few questions"

"This is crazy" Mary Margret mutters shaking her head "I would never hurt anyone"

Stroybrooke. Present day.

"Hello Ms Blanchard" Regina Mills greets Mary Margret with a smile on her face, but the only people who knew the truth about what the town really was and hadn't lost their memories to the curse, knew that it was fake because why after all would the Evil Queen greet Snow White as a friend? When there is a complicated past between them; a past where a ten year old little girl spilled a secret which forever changed Regina's life but Erica doesn't comment and instead sits in one of the plastic seats to begin interviewing her mother for murder

"W-What is she doing here?" Mary Margret asks Erica who sighs

"She's here to act as a third party, to make sure I stay impartial when I interview you, it's all to help you really" Erica informs the young teacher as she makes her way to the other side of the table so she was opposite the two women who were going to interview her

"I have nothing to hide" Mary Margret shrugs "Ask me anything"

Erica offered a small smile at the comment as she tried to reassure the young teacher but she also knew it wouldn't over her much reassurance in the grand scheme of things, Regina looked over to the blonde who rolled who eyes but pressed play on the recording device anyway and began to speak "The heart was found by the old toll bridge. It had been cut out by what appears to be a hunting knife. Have you ever been to the bridge before?"
