Storybrooke. Present-day.

THE THING WAS Erica never really believed in fate or destiny or anything else along the line. Sure things sucked in her life, and a lot of things in her life could be improved but she wasn't one to believe that someone or something had the fate to change her life, that was all down to her to change

But then she came to Storybrooke and realised she was from the world of fairytales and things began to change but it wasn't until she met Jaclyn that she began believing in fate and destiny because Jaclyn showed her a world beyond anything she could name. One of Gods, life, adventure and love and horrors, betrayal and sadness

It was all the perfect storm.

One that lived within Erica, thrived within her.

After Neal's naming ceremony, things started to calm down and Erica felt a little bit more relaxed even though she wasn't completely sold on the name of Neal for her baby brother (Hey, she may have forgiven the man but she didn't forget what he did to her baby sister)

"Want to play a game Swan?" Jaclyn asked lowly in her ear as she passed her, carrying two glasses of the amber liquid towards the booth in the corner, that she, Elizabeth and Will have taken up

"Yeah. Love to" Erica nodded her head and walked over to the booth where the pirates were sitting and slid into it, picking up the glass full of rum and tipping it back, over the year she had increased her alcohol tolerance and she was thankful for it as Jaclyn passed her over the other glass and swallowed half of it before passing it back over to Jaclyn and letting her drink the rest of it

"What game do you want to play?"

"Whatever game you're offering"

"Oh, I can offer plenty of games you know?" Jaclyn whispered, getting close and placing a hand splayed out on her thigh and leaning in closer so that she was by her ear and biting down softly on the edges of her ear

"I know darling but some games are just for us"

They were playing a dangerous game of flirting out in the open but none of that mattered now, they were just having fun and for once it didn't matter what anyone thought -- Erica was tired of hiding but also she wasn't ready to go public to everyone because that would just implode everything

"Liars dice?" She asked finally dropping the flirting and changing the subject as she turns to Will and Elizabeth who are watching them with amusement lighting up their eyes although Will obviously protests they decided to play it

A few game rounds were played, and laughter was roared around the table and Erica was actually happy. She had stopped thinking about the eyes watching her and just enjoyed playing the rounds of dice like they were with playing whatever the game was earlier

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Jaclyn asks, dropping her voice to a whisper

"Mmm sure love" Erica spoke, distracted by the way Jaclyn was looking at her and being unable to form a coherent sentence other than those three words. She edged closer to Jaclyn and Jaclyn delighted in this continuing to draw patterns on the top of her thigh, edging ever closer to the inside of her thigh and Erica had to fight to keep her breathing controlled
