Storybrooke. Present-day.

THE DOOR OPENING awoke Erica from her slumber and she groaned as she buried her head in Jaclyn's shoulder trying to go back to sleep but it seemed her body was already awake as it wouldn't let sleep back into her weary bones

THE DOOR OPENING awoke Erica from her slumber and she groaned as she buried her head in Jaclyn's shoulder trying to go back to sleep but it seemed her body was already awake as it wouldn't let sleep back into her weary bones

"Hey...Whoa, what the devil is going on?"  Killian asked loudly and Erica felt Jaclyn's arms hold her tighter refusing to let her go and she chuckled as she kept her face buried in Jaclyn's shoulder. Not wanting to get up but it appeared that wasn't going to happen as in the next few moments Erica could hear someone come down the stairs

"I don't know...Is that a fort?"

"It looks like a fort...How and why would she build a fort?"

"I don't know. It wasn't like this when we went upstairs"

Emma. Keira. Mary Margret. In that order, and she knew it wouldn't be long until they came looking for her and the others and she'd rather not have them see her in this position so she lifted her head up and whispered to the others "Hey you three. We need to get up"

"I would but I'm too comfy" Will complained, snuggling closer to Elizabeth and wrapping his hands around her waist. Erica grinned, she loved the way Elizabeth and Will were still madly in love with each other even after hundreds of years together and she hoped that one day; she and Jaclyn could be like that with Aphrodite's words ringing in her head: How deeply you are connected and love each other I sense

She loved Jaclyn with everything she had and was and she just hoped that was enough. It had to be. She was drowning in a sea of prophecies and fate ever since she came to Storybrooke and the darkness inside of her finally found a way out and then Jaclyn came along and Erica wasn't sure what to call it. Fate, destiny or whatever you want to call it or maybe it wasn't any of that maybe it was just a coincidence -- whatever it was Erica didn't mind, nor did she care but still Jaclyn came into her life, a woman with too many stories on her lips that could suit every tale thrown in her direction

But underneath it all, Jaclyn was the best thing to ever happen to her. She was careful, honest and vulnerable but cocky, confident and hardened in the need arises. Honestly, Erica Swan didn't ever think she would ever be dating a real-life pirate who is over three-hundred years old but neither did she think she was the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming  so there was that

"C'mon you big baby. Do you really want them to drag us out of here?"

"Fair point, I do not"

"Then we need to get up"

"Fine, we'll get up"

"Thank you"
