Seven Seas. One Year Ago.

THE LUMP AT the bottom of Jaclyn's bed hadn't moved in a week no matter how many times people have wandered in and out to check if Erica was still breathing and functioning as a human being should be. No matter what harsh words were said to her, or whether the words were matched with a sweet undertone, it was like Erica Swan heard none of it. She was just trapped in her own head, reliving killing Alice over and over again

Until Jaclyn apparently had enough of it and about a week after they had bordered The Black Pearl and marched into the room ripping the covers off Erica's trembling body that was curled up in a ball and she didn't move even when Jaclyn crawled into the bed and wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist and began to kiss her up her jaw and neck when Erica gave no reaction Jaclyn sighed and got off the bed. Erica curled into a tighter ball, thinking she would finally be left alone

But that didn't quite work out

Suddenly Erica felt her ankles being grabbed as Jaclyn pulled her out of bed and she ended up sprawled out of the floor, barely enough time to register what was happening to her but she managed to put her hands out to stop herself from hitting her head and she gives her girlfriend a dirty glare but all the pirate does it smile back "No more bedrest for you sweetheart I'm going to get you acting human again"

Confusion clouded her mind as she collected herself up off the floor and followed Jaclyn to the deck of the ship and she was even more confused when she was handed a sword by Jaclyn, looking from her pyjamas  to the sword and back to Jaclyn before repeating the action and looking at Jaclyn Sparrow as if she's gone mad (which she probably did years ago) "What's this?"

"A sword," Jaclyn told her as if speaking to a five-year-old

"No shit sherlock" Erica frowned, rolling her eyes

"Whose Sherlock?"

"He's a nevermind...I don't actually know if he's real in your world or not"

"Well now I've got you speaking actual words to me, do you think you could give this a try?" Jaclyn goaded with a smirk on her pretty little face as she tossed the longsword in Erica's direction expecting the woman to catch it. Instead, it caught the skin on her wrist and ended up slicing open a two millimetre cut on her the inside of her wrist causing her to let out a hiss "Lesson One: Actually catch the deadly sword that is being tossed in your direction but I think that's enough for today. Good lesson and we'll continue tomorrow but before you go back to your wallowing I will need to check out the wound and clean it so it doesn't get infected"

Erica has to stop her jaw from dropping as she had never seen the serious side of the pirate. She was used to Jaclyn being flirty and non-sensical but this was a new side to Jaclyn and Erica had to admit she liked it as Jaclyn moved forward grabbing a bottle of rum in order to pour on the wound and an old rag to clean away the wound.

Once it was clean, Erica looked Jaclyn in the eye as Jaclyn continued to inspect the wound and she watched as concern danced across her brown eyes and her eyebrows pinched together, creating a wrinkle in her otherwise perfect bronzed skin. Erica couldn't help the sweet smile that graced her lips

"Kiss me" Erica demanded, catching Jaclyn off guard

"W-What?"

"Kiss me" Erica repeated, now smirking a little as her ego was boosted by hearing the ever-so-confident Jaclyn Sparrow stutter and she moved forward a little so that her chin was resting on Jaclyn's head although she had to tilt her head up a little. She was mainly doing this just to annoy Jaclyn and it seemed to be working as Jaclyn grumbled before stepping back a little and dragging the blonde into a kiss
