Time was flying by, and before they realized their time in Paris was over, and they had to go to the train station to go to Austria. They where almost done packing when Nini felt pain in her stomach and decided to go to the bathroom to check if it was her period, which it was, but she didn't really think it through before going to the bathroom as she already packed away all her tampons. "Babe, can you get me a tampon from my bag? I forgot it again" Nini called out in the hotel room. Ricky knew where she put them in her bag, so he found one with ease and gave it to her.
"Thank you" she said as she left the bathroom and walked over to him to give him a kiss. "You're welcome, and I took the whole box out of your suitcase so you don't have to go through it all when you have to change it later" he said. "Seriously what should I do without you? Because you know exactly what I need when I'm on my period" she said as she was in his arms.

As they arrived on the train it was pretty late, as the only train from Paris to Salzburg was a midnight train (going anywhere! Sorry I had to...). They would arrive the next morning and go directly to the bus that would take them on the sound of music tour through Salzburg. So even though they probably should sleep on the train they decided on watching the sound of music on Disney+ before going to sleep, so they were prepared to see all the beautiful locations in real life. Even though Ricky always (at least until Nini made him audition for Troy) had hated musicals, he had a soft spot for the classic. It is the only musical film he has watched more then once, he might have seen it about 10 times with Nini, and that doesn't even include the countless times he have watched it with his family without Nini. So it was safe to say that he knew the lyrics to all the songs (and even the choreography to some songs).

The next morning when they arrived in Salzburg they found the tour bus and put their luggage into the luggage room (they had called before, when booking the tour to ask if they could keep their luggage on the bus as they were only passing through the city to go on the tour). When the doors opened a woman dressed as Maria in a dirndl welcomed them with yodeling. All the places they visited was absolutely beautiful, they recreated some pictures from the movie, like the run in the secret walkway during Do-re-mi. As the bus drove from place to place there was laughter and a whole bus full of people singing along to the iconic songs. When they arrived at the famous gazebo where several of the songs, including 16 going on 17 was recorded, the tour guide asked Ricky and Nini (as she had heard them sing on the bus) if they wanted to perform 16 going on 17 in the gazebo. She even said that she could film it for them if they wanted to. And that wasn't even a question, it was a dream come true for Nini, and kinda for Ricky too, as they used to perform that song in their backyards when they were younger and just watched the movie.

After performing at the gazebo (and taking some pictures as well) it was time for lunch in the von Trapp house, and the menu was cream colored ponies which was some kind of soup, then schnitzel with noodles, and for dessert they got crisp apple strudel, just like in the iconic song my favorite things. The bus then drove them to the top of the hill where they would hike a little, like they did in Do-re-mi. When they reached the top their was a woman and a group of children acting out the scene. It was incredible how many details they put into the tour and their day trip in Salzburg was definitely worth it.

At the train station the same evening they found a souvenir shop that had this little sound of music pin for her collection that she got, and they went to their train to Vienna when they would stay for 3 days till august 14th.

The big assignment (SRP) that I have to write is about a self chosen subject, so I'm going to write about the sound of music in music and history. And when I did some research for that (I have like 10 different books about it I have to read) I found out about the tour, when corona is over at some point, it would be a dream to go on a tour like that (the video I included in this chapter is their commercial, and I'm completely in love with it) so I had to include it in this story.
