“Will you come with me to our last show of this year?” Brian asked me, we were still enjoying the last rays of the sun in the beach. Well, I was enjoying Brian’s arms too, which were comfortably around me.
“When is that?”
“December 11th in Las Vegas.”
“I guess I can make it.” I said, smiling and he kissed my cheek.
“That’s awesome. It’s Zacky’s birthday so we decided to have a little fun after the show. You don’t mind, do you?”
“Of course not. It’s Vegas.” I laughed.
Moments of silence followed but it was a good silence. I was just happy for being with Brian. Feeling his warm chest against me and his colorful arms holding me was enough to put a smile on my face. Unfortunately, the sound of a cellphone ruined our peaceful moment. It was his phone ringing.
“I’ll kill whoever called..” I mumbled, earning a small chuckle from Brian.
“It’s Matt..” He picked up the call and pulled the phone against his ear. “What’s up, man?”
They talked for less than a minute before hanging up. “What did he want?” I asked curious.
“He wanted to invite us for a dinner at his house, tomorrow night. I think his and Emma’s parents will be there.. you know.. because of the wedding.”
“Oh.. I see.. Well, my dad asked us for lunch, so I think dinner at Matt’s is okay.”
Brian sighed a little and nodded his head. “Yup.. busy day tomorrow.”
“You nervous?” I asked, chuckling. He looked at me and shrugged his shoulders.
“Maybe. I just hope your dad understands that I really care about you and that I love you..”
“Me too, Brian.. me too.” I leaned my head against his chest as he tightened his grip on me.
After the sunset, we left the beach and headed home. We didn’t want to do anything else besides cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie.
“We’re so lazy.. we stayed all day seated on the beach and now we stay all night on the couch.” I said, laughing.
“I need some rest. I had three months with much activity.”
“Oh really? So.. rest includes not having sex.” I looked at him, smirking.
“I didn’t say that! I just said-“
“You said you needed to rest and sex involves too much action.” I cut him and he glared playfully at me.
“Okay. I take back what I said.”
“Too late..” I chuckled.
“Rest doesn’t mean not having sex.” He kept protesting, “Actually, it’s very relaxing.” I turned in his arms and gave him a small smile.
“I’m afraid your arguments are not valid anymore.”
“Shut up.. you’re just messing with me. You want it as much as I do.” He said, making me laugh. It was so funny to see him trying to get things right, even though he knew that I was just joking.
“Do I? Are you sure?”
“Yes. If you don’t want it, tell me, I don’t wanna have sex with you.”
“I don’t wa-“ I couldn’t finish the sentence because Brian crushed his lips against mine.
“Not in hell you’re going to say that!” He laughed.
