“Oh my god.. I can’t believeeee! How didn’t you notice??” Emma asked in disbelief.

“I don’t know.. Their faces were familiar but they are so different from what they were! I didn’t even think about it.. Only after I saw Zacky and Johnny I realized who they really were. I must be dreaming.” I said with my heart still racing.

“I can’t believe Avenged Sevenfold are right outside this door.” Emma said, pointing to the bathroom door.”

“I can’t believe we’re in the bathroom of Synyster Fucking Gates.” I looked at her and we burst out into laughing. This was too good.

“We have to tell Eilis and Clodagh, they’re going to be crazy.” Emma said, still in shock. Clodagh was also a fan but neither had she realized who they were the first night we met Brian and Matt when we were getting out of work. Eilis was not a fan but she knew who they were because Clodagh, Emma and I were always talking about them in high school.

“Yeah.. we have to, but not now. What are we going to do? Pretend that we don’t know anything?” I asked.

“I don’t know.. maybe it’s the better option. We’ll see how this goes.” She said.

“Are we ready?” I asked a little unsure.

“I guess so.. we just have to be calm.”

“Let’s go then.” I opened the door and we got out and headed to the living room again, where everybody was.

“Are you girls okay?” Matt asked concerned.

“Yes, we’re fine.. sorry.. we just needed to.. to do something.” I said nervously.

“Hey guys!” Matt called for his friends. “This is Annie and this is Emma.” He said.

“Who’s Michelle and Lacey?” I whispered to Matt.

“Michelle is Brian’s girlfriend and Lacey is Johnny’s.” He answered.

“Oh.. I didn’t know Brian had a girlfriend.”

“But he does.” He said.

“What do you wanna drink?” Brian asked both me and Emma.

“Just a beer. By the way, Brian, this is Emma.” I said.

“Hey! Nice to meet you.” He hugged her, catching her quite off guard.

“Nice to meet you too.” She managed to reply.

“And what do you wanna drink?” He asked her, smiling.

“I’m taking a beer too.” Emma said, smiling back. He went to the kitchen, leaving us alone.

“Oh my god.” Emma whispered me.

“Shhh! I’m trying to stay calm.. don't make it worse!"

“There you go..” Brian said, handing us our drinks after returning from the kitchen. “If you want more, feel free to invade my fridge.” He smiled, heading towards Michelle. Moments later she and Lacey came to us.

“Nice to meet you, girls.” Michelle said, smiling.

“Same here.” I returned her smile.

“So.. you know who they are, don’t you?” She asked.

“Ehhm.. what are you talking about?” I asked embarrassed.

“Come on.. we saw the way you reacted moments ago.. you don’t need to lie.” Lacey said this time.

I looked to Emma and she shrugged.

“Ok.. we only realized who they were today. We were in shock. That’s why we went to the bathroom.” I explained.
