“Hi again!” He said, smiling as he approached me.

“I wasn’t expecting you here..” I couldn't hide the embarrassment.

“Ohh! So much enthusiasm...” He said sarcastically, waving his hands in the air.

“I’m sorry.. I just.. I wasn’t expecting you..” I chuckled.

“And who were you expecting, then?” He asked, smiling.

“Me.” I turned around and saw Matt's dimples hanging on his cheeks as he smiled.

“Oh.. hey man!” Brian said as they gave an one-armed hug.

“Hi.” I said, smiling.

“Hey Annie.” Matt approached me and gave me a hug.

“What are you doing here, dude?” Matt asked Brian.

“I was going to talk to Michelle but I saw Annie here so I came to greet her.” He answered, as he glanced at me.

“Oh.. are you going to solve things up with her?” Matt asked.

“I’m not going to make up with her.. I’m just going to talk to Michelle. I was a little mean yesterday and I didn’t want to break up the things like I did.. so..” He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

“I think you’re doing the right thing.” I told Brian, making them both look at me.

“I’m sorry.. I just heard what you’ve said.. I didn-“

“It’s okay.. don’t worry.” Brian cut me, chuckling.

“She was really upset yesterday. I’m happy that you’re going to talk to her.”

“Yeah.. it’s the best thing to do.” Brian said, smiling a little.

“Good luck, man..” Matt patted him on his back.

“Thanks.. well, I guess I'll leave you two alone now. Have fun.” Brian told us as he left.

“Bye!” Both Matt and I said as we sat on the table.

“So.. how are you?” Matt asked, showing his dimples again.

“I’m fine and you?”

“Yeah.. me too. Well.. now I’m much better.” He said, making me blush.

“I don’t believe you..” I smiled timidly.

“Oh.. you never believe in what I say.” He pouted his bottom lip out.

“Aww.. you're so cute when you pout..” I laughed.

“Only when I pout?” He asked.

“I’m not going to answer that..”

“Why not? I want to know..”

“No way..” I felt my cheeks getting hot again.

“Why not?” He asked again, smiling.

“Because I’m shy..”

“Oh really?” He asked.

“Yes.. I blush with everything, can't you see? I hate it.” I buried my face in my hands, earning a deep laugh from Matt.

“I think it’s cute..” He said. His hazel eyes locked with mine and I had to divert my gace from him or I would blush even more.

“Shut up.. don’t say that. You’re making things worse.” I said chuckling, hiding my face in my hands again. He grabbed them and took them off of my face, making me look at him.

“What do I order for you?” He asked.

“A coffee, please.” I said, smiling.

“I’ll be right back.” He said as he stood up in order to ask for our drinks. Moments later he returned with two coffees in his hands.

“Thank you.” I told him as he handed mine.

“So.. did you have fun with Brian yesterday?” He asked.

What? How does he know that?

“Yeah.. but only after the little incident on the beach.” I said.

“He told me about it.. thank god he heard you screaming.”

“I know..”

“I don’t know what I would do if those little idiots had done something to you… I could see he was tense because his hand turned into a fist.

“They didn’t do anything, don’t worry.” I said, smiling, placing my hands in his to calm him down. He looked at me and smiled back as I felt his tension disappear.

“Your hands are really soft and I love them but.. I would like to drink my coffee.” He chuckled, glancing at our connected hands.

“Oh.. I’m sorry. I was distracted..” I said as I took off my hands from his. My face started to burn again
.
Fuck! Stop blushing. Jesus Christ. I felt so stupid.

“It’s okay.. I was enjoying, to be honest.” He said, smiling. He was definitely not helping in the blush thing.

“So.. what did Brian tell you about yesterday?” I asked curious with my eyes locked to the cup of coffee on my hands.

“Almost nothing. He only told me about the beach thing.. but why? Did he have something to tell me?” Suspicious poured out of his words.

“Ohh no.. not really.. I was just asking..” I said a little embarrassed.

“Okay..” He didn’t seem very convinced with my answer.

“Can I ask you something?” I wanted to change the subject.

“Sure.. what is it?”

“Well I’ve got two more bestfriends and.. well.. they wanted to meet you guys. But I told them that I didn’t know if that could be possible.” I said hesitant.

“Humm.. I don’t know.. what will I receive if I agree with that?” He asked, smirking.

“What will you receive?! The pleasure of knowing my two other bestfriends.. Isn’t that enough?” I laughed, making him laugh too.

“I was joking.. it’s okay. How ‘bout this next Friday?” He asked.

“I’ll have to talk to them but I guess it’s okay.” I answered, smiling.

“Cool.. What are their names, by the way?”

“Clodagh and Eilis..” I said.

“Interesting names..”

“Clodagh was also a fan of yours but she was not as crazy as me and Emma.” I said, chuckling.

“What do you mean with crazy?” He asked curious.

“Well.. Emma and I were really fans, like.. I don’t know.. we were crazy about you guys.. Clodagh was more about the music.. but obviously she’s dying with the idea of meeting all of you.” I explained.

“Okay.. I just don’t understand one thing.”

“What?” I asked.

“Why do you talk like it’s something of the past? Aren’t you fans anymore?” I smiled at the statement.

“We still love your songs and that stuff but.. we are not up to date anymore” I said with a small smile.

“Now you’re going to return to the old times.”

“Probably.. let’s just take off the fangirl thing.” I said with a chuckle.

“I wouldn’t mind..” He said, showing his dimples.

Okaaaay.. I said that the fangirl thing was over but those fucking dimples are making this hard. He has to stop to be so adorable. It’s killing me.

I was really enjoying being with Matt. He makes me feel special. I missed these feelings. It’s been so long since I have a boyfriend or anything similar. Being here with a guy, talking, laughing, I don’t know. It feels good. Matt’s very sweet and he knows how to make me blush, which is a bad thing and a good thing. Bad because I hate it, but I know it’s a good sign. It means he affects me. I also have Brian, but he’s different. I love to be with Brian now and I have to say that he also affects me but.. I don’t know.. he seems to be more like a bestfriend, I feel very comfortable when I’m with him and I was only like two days in his company. It’s very weird the way we improved our relationship. I hated him, I really did, but now.. he’s.. he’s a very good friend, I guess.

“Zacky liked Emma a lot. He said she was the coolest girl he had ever met.” Matt said chuckling, waking me up from my thoughts.

“Ehh? What?” I asked. I didn’t hear a thing.

“I said that Zacky liked Emma a lot.” He repeated.

“I noticed that they had fun together. They got along very well.” I said, smiling.

“Yeah.. she’s very nice. We all liked her. But the guys also liked you. Well.. I already liked you before, so..” He said, making me smile.

“You’re going to like my other bestfriends too. They’re also awesome. Eilis is my confidant, no matter what. She knows me better than me. And Clodagh is just.. Clodagh.. she’s a little crazier than me but she’s very sweet too. What can I say? I love them all, they’re always there when I need and that’s all I ask for.” I said very honestly.

“I know exactly what you’re saying. Me and the guys are the same. I couldn’t live without them. That’s why Jimmy’s death is so hard to get through. He wasn’t only a member of the band, he was my bestfriend, my fucking drummer, he was one of the bests persons I’ve ever met in my life and he was always there for me when I needed… he was too fucking important to leave the world this soon.” He said. I could see the sadness and the hurt in his eyes. It broke my heart.

“I know.. he was Jimmy and that’s it. You don’t have to say anything else.” I placed my hands over his, giving them a squeeze.

“Yeah.. he was just Jimmy.” He sighed.

“Hey… come on.. Jimmy wouldn’t want to see you like this.” I said, trying to make him feel better.

“I know.. but.. it’s so fucking hard.” He was really sad and it was making my heart ache.

“I know it’s hard.. it’s never easy to lose someone we love so much but remember that he’s always here with us.. he will never leave you. He'll always be in your heart."

He smiled a little at me. “Yeah.. you’re right. He will never leave Avenged Sevenfold because he’s a part of it and he will always be.”

“I know.. and Avenged Sevenfold fans will never forget him too.” I said, smiling.

“Thank you, Annie.” He said, grabbing my hands and kissing them softly.

“It’s okay.. I hate to see you guys so sad.. It breaks my heart.”

“That’s because you love us.” He chuckled.

“I do.. I may have stopped updating but my love for you was always there. Avenged Sevenfold was very important to me when I was younger."

“Was? Aren’t we important anymore?” His lips turned into a smirk again.

“Of course you are, actually, now you are even more important because we’re like friends.”

“It’s not just like friends.. we really are friends. You have to figure that out.” He said, smiling.

“It’s not that easy.. you were supposed to be my idols and not my friends. It’s still strange for me.”

“I know, but you’ll get used to it soon, you’ll see.” He said, making me chuckle.

“I hope so.. you guys are awesome..”

“Oh no.. we’re just a bunch of guys who look like kids.” He laughed.

“You’re still awesome.. and I’m a very lucky girl..”

“You think?” He asked.

“No! I’m sure.. my brother still doesn’t believe me.. he thinks that I’m lying.”

“Really?” He asked, laughing.

“I’m serious.. I don’t know what to do to make him believe that I know Avenged Sevenfold personally.” I said.

“Well.. I know..” He said as he grabbed his phone. “Come here.” He pointed to his lap.

“To..to your..lap?” I asked confused.

“Yes, come on.. let’s take a picture.” He said.

“Ohh that’s an awesome idea.. How didn’t I think about it?” I moved to his lap and he wrapped one arm around my waist as the other held his phone in the air.

“Ready?” He asked, ready to take the picture.

“Yes… no! No! Wait!” I said.

“What?”

“Put these..” I said as I grabbed his cap and his sunglasses. Now you’re M. Shadows.” I smiled as he put his acessories. With a click, he took the picture.

“Awesome..” I smiled.

“You’re beautiful.” He said, looking at the photo.

“We both are..” I said and he looked at me showing his dimples. “Can you send me that picture?” I asked.

“Sure..” He sent me the photo and placed his phone on the table.

“Eheh.. In your fucking face..” I said after sending the pic to my brother.

“How old are you? I actually don’t know..” He asked me. I was still on his lap.

“25..” I answered, pulling out of his lap and sitting on the chair next to him.

“You didn’t have to get out of here..” He said, smirking.

“It was getting too warmed.” I said as I looked at him. He had a big smirk on his face. That’s when I realized what I’ve just said. Both of us burst out into laughing.

“Oh.. speak for yourself..” He said still laughing.

“That wasn’t my intention.. it’s not what I wanted to say..” I said as I hide my face in my hands. Oh my god.. what the fuck did I just say? I had to learn to keep my mouth shut.

“You don’t need to blush.. I completely understand your situation.” He said smiling and I punched his arm playfully.

“Sssshh! Let’s forget this..” I said, chuckling but still embarrassed.

“Oh believe me, I won’t forget this anytime soon..” He said as he laughed again.

“Stop laughing..” I wanted to look mad but I failed.

“I’m sorry…” He said, trying his best not to laugh again. Meanwhile, my phone went off.

“It’s a text from my brother..” I said.

“Safe by the phone” He said, making me glare at him.

Fuck you! How did you get that photo? It was my brother's text message. I read it to Matt and we both laughed.

We kept talking and laughing but it was getting late.

“Well.. I’m really enjoying your companye but tomorrow I work so I need to get going..” I said resentfully.

“Oh ok.. that’s a shame..” He said.

“I know.. If I could I would be here a little longer.”

“It’s okay.. we’ve got plenty of time, don’t worry.” He said, smiling.

We got up from the table and paid for the coffees. “Do you need me to drive you home?” He asked.

“Nope.. I brought my car, but thank you.” I smiled and he nodded.

“Ok.. don’t forget to talk with your friends about Friday.” He remembered me.

“I won’t.. and you do the same.” I said.

“I don’t need.. they’re always up for some kind of party, especially when there are girls involved.” He said, chuckling, making me smile.

“Okay.. so I guess I’ll see you soon.” I said.

“Of course.. I’ll text you tomorrow."

“I’ll be waiting!” I warned.

He gave me a quick hug and kissed my cheek and then we said our goodbyes.
When I was heading towards my car I hear my name being called. I turned around and saw Michelle walking in my direction. Should I be worried?
