“I really need to buy new clothes. These are starting to be too tight for me.” I said as I tried hard to put a shirt on. Emma and Clodagh chuckled from the other side of my room.

“That’s why we’re going to the mall.” Emma remarked.

“I must be the only girl that hates shopping..” I mumbled, heading towards the bathroom to end up getting ready.

We decided to spend the day together, because it had been a while since we did that. When the guys are at home, we want to be with them and we kind of forget our friends. Eilis would meet us later, after leaving work. She always worked on Saturdays, poor girl. When we arrived at the mall, there were only a few parked cars, which meant that the mall was not that crowded. Probably because it was still early.

“Hey, we also have to start looking for a dress for your Wedding.” Emma remembered as we bypassed a store with bridal things.

“I know, but for today I want ordinary clothes. Next week we start with that, okay?”

“Okay.”

Emma was going to be the manager of my Wedding. She asked me to organize everything, from the reception of the guests to the decoration and all those kinds of stuff. I actually trusted her more than any other person, because she knew me really well. She knew exactly how I wanted my Wedding to be, and for me that was enough.

We entered in a few stores and tried several clothes. We would give each other our opinions about how well the clothes fit us, and as a result we left the stores with a few bags on our hands. It was funny to shop with the girls and time seemed to pass rather quickly. Without even notice it, it was lunch time. Eilis joined us right then. Her work was only in the morning.

“So where’s your honeymoon going to be?” Clodagh asked as we ate.

“We don’t know yet. I can’t travel, so it’s kinda complicated. I just want a peaceful and quiet place where we can rest and have a good time together without anyone bothering us.”

Rest??” Clodagh chuckled. “Yeah right. I bet you’ll be fucking each other all the time.” She said, making us all laugh.

“You’re disgusting!” I threw her one chip playfully.

“What? You know it’s true..” She smirked and I rolled my eyes at her, before continuing eating my lunch.

We return to the shopping activity that I loved so much, and while we were in a store, Eilis found a shirt on the pregnancy part, that, following her words, would be perfect for me. However, when I saw it I wasn’t sure if I liked it. I tried the shirt anyways but since I was still with doubts about it, I decided to take a picture and send to Brian.

“What’re you doing?” Clodagh asked confused as she saw me using my phone.

“I’m asking for an opinion.”

“Let me guess.. Brian?” I glanced up from my phone and gave her a gaudy smile. “You’re hopeless!”

“What’s the matter?” Emma asked, approaching us.

“Clodagh is just jealous that I have a hot boyfriend and she doesn’t.”

“He’s not even hot.” Clodagh scoffed just to mess with me. “At least I have good sex.”

“Me too.”

“Yeah, yeah..” She laughed sarcastically.

“Shut up!”

“Hey girls,” Emma called, “Stop arguing.. we still have shopping to do.”

Both Clodagh and I grimaced at each other playfully, before following Emma out of the store we were in. But no sooner did we step out than we were confronted with our friend staring eagerly at the inside of a certain store. When I saw what it was I couldn’t help but laugh. Emma’s eyes were shining with greediness and to be honest so were mine.
