RIVER POV

Wyatt and I sat in the car surveying our surroundings. We were on patrol near the high school, keeping an eye out. Last night there was a small drug bust when the suspects were found selling drugs to some teenagers at a party. As usual the bastards refused to talk. This time though, they had the drugs on them so one good came out of it. Two less people selling drugs out there.

"Shit." I heard Wyatt grumbled. He was looking down at his phone.

"Something wrong?" I mumbled, eyes out the window.

"Yeah, I was suppose to get lunch for my girlfriend and I forgot." He sighed as his thumb rapidly typed, no doubt profusely apologizing.

Checking the time, it was indeed lunch. "You can go do that. I wanna go check on my sister real quick." I said as I opened my door.

"Are you sure?" He asked, watching me get out of the car.

"Positive. I'll grab something in the cafeteria at the school." I shut the door and jogged to the nearby building.

After a very brief conversation with Cameron and some stealing of her food, I left her. I did want to see her but we lived together now. I saw her this morning. Another female occupied my thoughts at the moment. I couldn't help it, the woman was doing something to me. Something I both loathed and loved at the same time. I waltzed into her room without knocking.

"Hello." I greeted with a smile.

She was grading papers or something boring. "Hi?"

I didn't say anything else and started looking around. I peeked at her papers and noticed some Cs and Bs. Not one A until I got to Cam's paper.

"Nice work my little book worm." I uttered looking over the paper.

Kailee's hand reached out and grabbed it from me, reorganizing the mess I made. I saw half a sandwich sitting on her desk and I looked over at her. I pointed at it, silently asking if I could have it with my eyes. She slowly nodded. I grinned and ate the tasty food. I even took her remaining drink and chugged it down. She only stared at me in silence.

"Why are you here, River?" Kailee asked as I went through more of her stuff.

"Just chilling." I opened a cabinet and peeked in. Nothing but school crap.

I thought that maybe she'd stop me but she just sat there looking all sexy. With her luscious thighs crossed, an elbow resting on the armrest and chin in her palm.

"You're meant to be working." She gave me a sexy one eyebrow lifted look.

"I am, we're keeping an eye around the high school. I'm in the high school." I replied as I placed my ass on her desk.

"Get down." She pushed at my knee.

Her barely there touch was enough to make me tingle, even through my pants. My eyes dropped to the spot her hand lingered on for just a few seconds and I suddenly wanted it on me again. My buddy jolted awake without my consent.

"Nah." I smiled cheekily.

With our eyes fixed on each other, I could feel something within my being I'd never felt before. She looked like she was contemplating something. Her light amber eyes looked clouded in thought, a slight frown upon her face.

"Can I ask you something?" She finally asked, her voice soft and calm.

"Sure." I answered quietly, still caught up with gaping at her.

"Do you always pack?" she asked unsure.

It took me a few seconds to get what she meant and when I did, I erupted in laughter. She didn't react to my laughter, she simply sat there waiting for me to finish.

"You think I wear a strap?" I asked in amusement.

She shrugged and glanced down. "Well, what else? There was a bulge that day and there's one right now."

My smile remained on my face as I answered her. "I can assure you, everything about me is one hundred and ten percent real."

Her eyes widened. "Oh, you're trans. Shit, I'm sor-"

"No, I'm not." I laughed at her flustered state.

Her face contorted into confusion now. "Then you are packing." She stated confidently. I shook my head negatively. "I don't believe you."

A devious thought came to mind just then. I smirked her way and she raised a brow in question.

"Check." I casually said.

"Excuse me?" The woman sat back.

"If you don't believe me, then check." I gestured to my crotch.

I honestly thought she'd slap me or curse me out. I definitely did not think the woman would get up and walk to her door to lock it. Everything happening was going straight to my dick, the thing had a mind of its own. I twisted my neck to watch her, she walked back to me with a stoic expression. I followed her with my eyes as she came to stand in front of me, my back was to the door. Since I was sitting, we were now the same height and it allowed me to see directly into her eyes. Eyes that gave absolutely nothing away.

My buddy was already up and awake, but she wasn't looking there. Her eyes were fixated solely on mine. I felt dubious fingers slowly unbuckled my pants. She unzipped me and tugged down gently, all while maintaining eye contact as though she was afraid of looking down. I looked down, breaking our eye contact to see my very present bulge through my boxers. Heat flooded through my entire body by both her proximity and what was happening. Looking back up, her eyes were glued to my bulge.

Although it was obviously real, the olive skinned goddess still reached for my waist band. My body roared to life in anticipation as she pulled down revealing just the head of my cock. Pre cum gathered at the tip. Suddenly she was a few steps away from me. I saw so many emotions pass through her face. Fear and confusion being two of them but not an ounce of want was there. That snapped me back to reality and I stood to fix myself. As I did so, she quietly sat at her desk.

"It makes sense now." She spoke in a hushed tone.

"What does?" She still wasn't looking at me.

"Cameron is like a carbon copy of your mom Charlotte but you and Ryan are the perfect blend of both of your moms." She supplied. "I'm guessing that your mom Logan is..." she trailed off.

I nodded but didn't say anything. The look on her face wasn't exactly reassuring. I felt the hurt of rejection surfaced and I struggled to keep my emotions in check. It wasn't because nothing happened but because she was acting so withdrawn now. She didn't look disgusted yet I couldn't pinpoint the exact emotion she displayed.

"Are you...okay?" I asked in a worried tone.

She glanced briefly at me. "Yes. I have to prepare for my next class. You should get back to work."

"Okay. See you around, Kailee." I muttered, taking one last look to see a firm nod in reply.

I walked out and looked down. You don't deserve any attention. I'm not touching you.
