It was a fantastic ride of my life. A roller coaster one as what they called. That's life, weather you like it or not, you will experience a roller coaster ride. In life, you can't always be happy. You need to be sad, hurt, disappointed, heart broken, tired, everything. Because that's part of life. You need to feel it for you to keep going and striving.
They said, all of us has a destined person. But we can't really tell who is it unless the destiny says that you're the one. It's not because you love that person, you will force things to happen. You will force the destiny to make it him, who's meant for you. Learn to let go, and accept that you just met but not meant to be until the end.
I'm here at the open area of our airport and currently waiting for someone. The cold breeze was wrapping to my whole body and even my hair. I'm just thankful that it's tied tightly.
"Ma'am Jeenah!" I said someone calling me so I looked back and saw Mang Pilo walking towards to me.
"Mang Pilo! Sorry po, naabala ko pa kayo,"
"Naku, ayos lang ho iyon. Maliit lang naman po na bagay 'yon,"
"Thank you po,"
"Ah, 'yan po ba ang ipapadala ninyo?" he pointed at the small envolope I was holding. A letter.
"Uhm, yes po," I handed him the envelope.
"Sige ho, ma'am! Makakaasa ho kayo!"
"Thank you so much po!"
Before he left, I glanced at the paper for the last time. I smiled. I still remember what I wrote on that letter, every single words, because I repeat it a lot of times. I was having a trouble on what to put on that letter.
Dear Jiu,
Hi! How are you? I'm sorry for a sudden letter ha? Promise, this is the last time haha. Anyways, I just want to say those things I couldn't say on the last conversation we had. It's more than a year already, huh? I just want to say thank you. For everything, as in everything. I know y'know what I'm talking about. Every single things that you did for me, thank you. Especially to the memories that I promise, I will treasure and will keep until the end. I will always be grateful that once in my life, there's someone named Jiulian Sayron Delavid who came to my life.
And now, I'm just wishing you all the best. You know that's all I want for you. Winked* Joke, your wife will surely kill me if she saw this. But I think not. She's super nice, right? Give my regards to her. Say hi, Sydney Delavid! Haha. Hope you're doing fine and Jiu's not making your head ache. I know naman, he's not. He's such a good boy, right?
But I'm not going to make this longer than it is. Jiu, build a best and great family, huh? You have a lovely and gorgeous wife so don't waste it, jk! More kids, more love! Uh, don't mind me, I'm just very happy for you. Always be happy there in London, and I heard you're such a one of the best detective there? Naks, I'm so proud of you! By the way, can I have a last favor? Please??? Can you name your future kid the name that I told you years ago? Jillian? You can add the second name for Jillian. And if ever it's a boy, name him Julian Ford? But don't worry, it's okay if you, love birds, don't want to. Yeah, I will end it here. Masiyado ng mahaba ito para sa magandang katulad ko!
Be happy always, that's all I want. This is the real goodbye, I guess. Good bye Jiulian. :)
