Albedo looked over a few simple schematics he had kept well hidden in one of his notebooks, knowing your tendency to snoop through his sketch and notebooks alike, he had done well to keep it hidden and if he couldn't hide it, it was on him at all times.

Klee had gotten ahold of it once but, she didn't get long enough to snoop through the whole thing, had she done so the papers he thought would provide the best result would have fallen out for you to see.

And just what were these schematics? Why was he going to such lengths to keep you from seeing them, even keeping Klee from taking a peek? Well, to put it simply, it was a pair of rings..engagement rings.

He had designed them himself, having called in a favor with Venti and Kaeya, asking the two of them to try and get your ring size without properly alerting you to what his intentions could be. It was a long plan, grueling to say, but he enjoyed taking your personality and everything about you and turning it into a ring that would suit you perfectly.

All he really needed to do now, was to perform khemia for the briefest of moments to bring the rings to life. His lab had plenty of space to do this, with the door locked, he didn't need to worry about interruptions either.

Elsewhere, you had taken the time to venture up to Starsnatch cliff to glimpse at the far off islands dotting the coast of Mondstadt. You hadn't visited the Isle with the sundial that Venti had mentioned to you, but you already had a feeling it was Istaroths.

"The less interaction with those shades, the better.." you grumbled to yourself and stretched, the mountain breeze swept upwards from the valley and pushed past you with force. It would have been perfect for a take off.

In all honesty, Albedo had asked to meet you here, but he was nowhere to be seen, not even a trace. Granted, whatever he was planning was probably important so you didn't want to rush him by getting here a little early.

It was probably the excitement, Life as a mortal was certainly mundane, you wanted to run around and travel, enjoy life again, however the world has changed far beyond what it used to be. The abyss' presence was everywhere, and you weren't sure what Aether could possibly be planning after he failed against you.

But, among all the things you were worried about when it came to traveling, here you were at peace, Albedo certainly did his best to make sure of that. Perhaps in a way, Mundane life suited you..though you did want to get better at cleaning if you weren't going to start looking for a job.

Your worries were far and few between, it was a far cry from your former life, being the wise man that tells the tales wasn't all it was spiffed up to be.

As your legs dangled off of the cliffs edge, your thoughts occupying your mind, that was probably why you didn't hear Albedo come up behind you. He cleared his throat and smiled when your head whipped around to look at him.

"I didn't make you wait long, did i?" he hummed and helped you up, pulling you away from the edge and kissing your hand. "I'd wait all day for you if i needed to." you retorted and smiled as he shook his head, pulling you away from the edge to sit down on the slope.
