"So.."

You crossed your arms while staring at the massive Sunsettia taking up the entirety of a fruit bowl, held by Sucrose, who seemed to be beaming with joy seeing how she managed to get a fruit to grow so big. "I don't know how I'll use up that thing before it goes bad.." you admitted and met her eyes, sparkling with a smile brighter than the sun.

"Don't worry about that, it's magnificent! This is the biggest one I've managed to grow all year!" She cheered and passed the bowl to you. "I need to test this experiment on other fruits, would you mind showing this to Mr. Albedo?" She inquired, obviously, she would love to show Albedo herself but was more excited about executing her process on other fruits before she wanted to do that.

"Uh- yeah.." You looked at the fruit before laughing and shifting it to one arm and waving goodbye to her. "Good luck, let me know if you need help!" You chuckled and watched her run off, her hat nearly falling off with how fast she ran. "Well, I guess this has been a..fruitful, shopping trip." You chuckled, laughing to yourself as you turned away from the market street and walked home.

The sun was high in the sky, and today was a good day, mostly because this day marked the fifth day of one of Albedo's expeditions into Dragonspine, and he usually returned before sunset on the fifth day. With the sun hanging high in the sky, you were excited and wanted to make a nice treat for him before he got home.

As you held the bowl, your fingers subconsciously rubbed against the ring on your ring finger. It was a lovely reminder of the place you found yourself in now, it was comfortable, it was domestic, but after all your life, you wouldn't have it any other way.

You pushed the door open and stepped inside the quiet house, taking a deep breath of the scent of home before walking deeper into the house. "Should've gone up to headquarters to find Klee." You muttered to yourself, knowing she would have a blast, and not the bombing kind, making a Sunsettia pie with you.

As you set the bowl down and smiled at the thought of the little blonde covered in dough and flour, you heard the front door open. You paused and poked your head out of the kitchen doorway, with Albedo in the middle of taking his jacket off and hanging it up.

"You're back early." You smiled and walked over to greet him, your eyes lingering around his face, must have just finished acclimating to the warmth after leaving the foothills with how red it was. "Hm, well, it was colder than usual and, I missed you." He hummed, his voice smooth and filling the space as you pressed your hand against his cheek.

"Aw~ how sweet, I missed you too.." you chuckled and stepped closer and pressed a kiss to his lips. "Hmm.." he hummed, accepting the kiss wholeheartedly and pressing into it as well just to pull away and let out a long sigh. "Your warmth, I missed that the most." He chuckled and kissed your cheeks and nose.

"You're such a smooth talker, when did you get so flirty?" You teased and pinched his cheeks before stepping back and stretching, making your way back to the kitchen and disappearing inside. "I was gonna make a pie with this huge Sunsettia Sucrose gave...me.." you chuckled and stepped out of the kitchen doorway, now getting a full look at what he was wearing.

"Mhm? It seems to be the most recent success of her experiments." he hummed, walking over and carefully picking the fruit out of the bowl and tossing it carefully between his two hands while your eyes stayed locked on like a missile to his exposed thighs. "Wh-..what? Huh?" You looked up and swallowed comically loud, your face red with thoughts that are definitely not anything holy.
