The Seven Medallions

Episode Eight

Pipers POV
"CRIKEY!" Yelled the little raccoon. "I Thought I'd never see you two blokes again!"
"Marine!" Said Tails. "I can't believe it's you!"
"It's been a while!" Sonic said.
"Way too long, mates!" The raccoon jumped up and down for joy.
"Sonic!" Amy yelled. "Who is your little friend?"
Marine caught sight of us standing in the ships entrance, dumbfounded.
"And who exactly are they?" She asked the hedgehog.

"I'm Knuckles," the red echidna said, hoping down to the sand below. "Pleasure to meet you." They shook hands and then Amy joined them.
"I'm Amy Rose, Sonics girlfriend," she giggled. "Well, almost."
Clair hopped down as well. "I'm Clair," she said. "Nice to meet you, Marine."

Sonic ran over to her. "Clair, you are awake! Are you ok?"
"Never better," she said. Amy grunted.

Marine looked over at me. "Who are you then?"
I laughed and super bounced down to the ground. I immediately regretted it as my legs gave out beneath me and I landed face first in the sand. The raccoon girl gasped and helped me up.
"You ok, mate?"
"Yes, thank you." I brushed the sand off of me and sat on the ground.
"My name is Piper, Piper the Mink."
My head started to throb. Obviously I still had to recover from that shock I had.
"Your head is bandaged!" Marine looked at our ship. "And your ships broke!"
"Yeah," Tails sighed. "I'll explain everything to you later. But now we need to find Blaze."
"Blaze?" We all said. Sonic nodded.
"She lives here with Marine in the Sol District. She can help us rebuild our ship."
"Sol District?" We all asked again.
"Looks like you got some explaining to do," Marine said. She looked back at the ship and noticed a lone figure in the back, trying to hide from the raccoons eyes.

"Shadow?" She said. "SHADOW!"
"Oh gosh," Shadow said under his breath. He slowly came down and joined the rest of us at the beach. Marine hugged him.
"SHAD! I missed ya! How have ya been bloke?"
"I was fine until now," Shadow said. "Lets find Blaze quickly then get out of here."

We walked down the halls of Blaze's palace. After some explaining, I learned that Blaze the Cat was the princess of the Sol Dimension, a place with the same time structure as Mobius, and the home to the seven Sol Emeralds, the Chaos Emeralds of this dimension. Blaze protected and guarded these precious stones, with the help of her fire powers, a curse given to her long ago. Sonic and Tails had accidentally traveled here and met Marine who helped them get back home. Blaze was a good friend to team Sonic and would help us get the Blue Typhoon up and running again.

I also learned that Shadow didn't like Marine very much. It seemed because they had met before on bad terms.

I was still hurting from the episode on the ship, so Marine and Tails helped me by letting my arms wrap around their shoulders for support. My legs wobbled and shook as we continued down the hall and came to a door.
"Here it is!" Marine said. "Blaze is usually in this room around this time."
"So you don't know for sure." Shadow huffed.
"Well this place is the most likely for her to be in!" She responded. "If she isn't here, then she'll be in the bloomin throne room!" Marine let go of me then pulled open the door. "Might as well check here first!"
Inside the door was a huge library filled with books. The shelves were stacked high and were completely full of different types of stories- fantasy, nonfiction, biography, history, etc.

A figure stirred in a chair and caught my eye. She looked like a cat, her lilac fur gleaming. She had a gold necklace on, and a purple jacket on with Crimson shoes.
"Blaze!" Marine yelled. "Packages for ya!"
The cat turned looked up from her book and gasped.
"Sonic? Tails? and-" she looked at me and Clair. "-friends?"
"Hi Blaze," Sonic said, scratching his head. 🌟

Authors note- I'm sorry if this is short but hey! I've just been kinda busy.
