The Seven Medallions

Episode 32

Eggman's POV
Countdown: 30 hours

I finally had them.
I strolled out of my base, holding the six elemental medallions in my hands. Finally, with these, I will gain elemental powers.

My machines failed. My robots were destroyed. For once, I can rely simply on magic. No need to worry about Sonic and his dopey friends scrapping another invention of mine. I will be unstoppable!

I smirked as lightning broke the sky and thunder crashed like cymbals. A storm was brewing. Probably because off all this power in one spot..
I cleaned my spectacles and smoothed out my mustache. Slowly, I put on the medallions. With each one, a bright light shown out.
The fire medallion.
The water medallion.
The earth medallion.
The air medallion.
The dark medallion.
And I put on the ice medallion that held the magic I stole from Clair long ago. 1/4 of it was still missing, but it was enough. Enough to make me the most powerful man alive.
My neck swelled with the weight as I slowly put on the ice medallion.
A huge force suddenly knocked me backwards. With a cry, I flew across the room, slamming into the wall.
"What the-!"
I shook my head in disbelief. Standing before me was something from my own nightmare.
"N-no! It can't be!"
The nightmare spoke.
"Hello, Ivo. Remember me?"
Enerjak.
"How could I forget you?" I squinted nervously. How did he get here?
"Well, Ivo. You must be confused. You see, with your help, the medallions released me from my prison. I'm free because you were stupid enough to think that the old legend was true. Those medallions around your neck broke my chains, and now.."
He smirked and my mouth dropped.
"... Now I can use YOU."
I called out as Enerjak jumped towards me. I felt him seep into my pores.
How could I be so DENSE.
God, someone, please...
Sonic.. STOP HIM.
Then everything faded to black🌟
