Rain

The shivering breeze's hands grasped upon me after passing by
a park that was once filled with a warm sunset whom clumsily poured some droplets of rain on my shoulder.
The sounds it made on the ground, flashbacks a time of innocence that was then tarnished after learning to lie
and gosh it frustrates me for a thousand years 'til I get sober.

Then as I raise my hand to reach out the gray skies to obtain more rain droplets.
Somehow it took all of my regrets.
'Cause It didn't stop crying into my palm as I felt its coldness.
And by then I knew that just like how I became sober; the rain will sooner and later overcome the heavy burden of its darkness 'til colorful lights expresses its cheeriness.

Someday even the brightest sunshine would eventually go dim.
There will be this murky clouds screaming so loud 'til it unveils our pain inside.
But after the rain and all the hardships came a rainbow beam.
Shining its brilliant colors, as we become the hue of this world with our true and vibrant emotions outside.
