I was eager for your love
But I was blind to see your part
The day I left
Gave me direction to start again
When my heart aches everytime you replied late to my messages
I felt like I wasn't being valued
Or you took me for granted
And then in the moment I was just crying on my bed
I realized that I don't deserve to be sad
And I don't want to hurt myself again because you had changed a lot
I usually don't expect that much from you
But the day I left
Reminded me that I wasn't wrong to stop
All I want was to be loved without being ignored.
But before the day I left
I wanted you to prove me wrong on the words I said to you
But you never replied.
The day I left
Is the day that made me today
The day I left
Told me to stop on you but to never give up on life
I am stronger now
The day I left
Had made me pull myself together
Because I ain't losing myself for you
It's too much for me to do
The day I left
I still thanked you because you gave me this pain to be stronger.
