The Moon's Envy

Umhh hello hello
I guess?
I'm sure that most of you know what a Moon is
Or maybe not? Haha
The Moon shines its brightest in the dark.
I, don't often leave a spark.
Although I said, I'll stay,
and so the Moon would say,
even when there is no day.
I'm always up here ready to play,
But as time passes by,
a Moon envies a Sun with a brief sigh.

A sigh of silence,
wishing that it has a presence.
Meanwhile the Sun emanating its radiant essence,
saw the Moon staring at his apparent existence.
What is your name fellow Star?!
F-fellow star?
I am not even 1% of what you are,
yet you called a tiny piece of rock like me a-a star.
...Well surely everyone deserves to be one replied the sun.
'cause even back at my universe-city's class I always wanted everyone to be able to raise a hand and take their own stand.
Why?
Its because I see regrets of those who never risk and secretly regret and cry.
However even when one cannot shine,
I want to give them a world where they'll be more than just fine.
so I called you a star...

A moon like you may never have a stand to par,
against a celestial like me with its own core.
But don't let it be a sore,
I'll give you light, said the sun
oh come on is this a pun!? exclaimed the Moon with a chuckle.
The Moon flattered by the latter's
generousness.
