Greed

A cheerful, brotherly or fatherly man
Presents himself as a blood relative
He joys himself with the young and jolly child.
Taught him about the way of life...

Though his joy seems genuine,
His weary eyes are filled with ill-desires.
The unskinned wings he wore disguised as a noble suit.
Devours his very own vigor and those around him.

Time he shares non-chalantly
Contains a huge interest to bare
Whatever you offer he gladly consumes
Yet even the best you can give cannot satisfy him

His own brethen
Is nothing but a wealth-generating machine for him.
The fantasies he fills his mind
Took grasp to his very own contentment and vision.

Not even his own parents is exempted
Any fruit of labor is entitled to them.
If not they become domestic warmongers
They drink the blood, sweat and tears of even their brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers.

No grain nor droplet of insistence can be seen.
Only desire to survive.
Only desire to consume.
Only desire to satisfy "their needs."

Like a parasitic mold consuming the very leaves that nurtured them.
They multiply their viciousness and hunger for those who prosper.
Unbeknownst to their mirror of a monster they portray those "selfish relatives they have."

But soon.
The tree of whose leaves have overcame
Grew a scarlet flame torching those annoying parasites.
Marking an end to what abomination of a monster that breeds in man's unending desires.
