"Remember, if dad's in a meeting you can't just barge in, alright darling?" I remember Hazel as we both walk into the familiar building where Harry and I work.

"But didn't dad tell you to stay home today?" She questions, furrowing her eyebrows while I roll my eyes at the memory before shaking my head.

"It's fine, he's not my boss," I state and Hazel raises her eyebrows because he is, indeed, my boss but only here. He's been so overprotective lately and is trying to make Hazel think the same way, which leads her to agree with him whenever he does stuff like this.

I spot Megan by her desk and she looks up once we stand in front of her, Hazel standing on her tiptoes so she can see properly and Megan immediately furrows her eyebrows.

"What are you doing here? Harry said you were staying home today."

"He overreacted, I'm only four months in! It's not a big deal and definitely not a reason to stay home." I cross my arms while Hazel snickers faintly, covering her mouth with her hand and pretending that she didn't do anything.

She's on her vacation from kindergarten and we've been spending a lot of time together lately which is so good, I've been enjoying it a lot. But Harry is constantly working, so I thought that maybe we could spend time together, the three of us.

"Eve," Megan laughs, getting up and rounding her desk to give me a quick hug, "why can't you stay still for a day?"

"Why can't he accept that it's not a big deal yet?"

She shakes her head and motions for us to keep walking toward the elevator before she sits down again. We gladly do so and I let Hazel press the button for the elevator, looking attentively as she presses it a little too forcefully.

After a while, the doors open and we step inside, Hazel's hand latching onto mine immediately as the doors close in front of us.

"Mum," She whispers and I turn my head to her with a faint smile, "will you love the baby more than you love me?"

"No!" I nearly shout and she looks down while I run a hand through her curls, "no my love, I can love more than one person equally, you know? I won't love someone more than the other, love is equal."

I've noticed that whenever me and Harry bring up the topic of our baby Hazel sometimes gets quiet but I just thought she wasn't that interested in it, but now that I think better I should've suspected something like this.

She looks up at me before hugging my legs and I take the chance to lean down and kiss her head while she sighs. "I'm sorry mum."

"Hey, no, no apologising when you've done nothing wrong, alright?" I crouch so I can look directly at her and she smiles faintly before throwing her arms around my neck so I take the opportunity to carry her in my arms.

The elevator stops and the doors open. As I expected the hallway is hectic and people rush by continuously, chatting with each other and creating more noise.

I step out and head towards Harry's door, knocking three times and Hazel joins me almost immediately, knocking harshly with a grin on her face.

Harry opens the door and widens his eyes when he takes a look at us, his shock fading away seconds later only to turn into assertiveness. "Evelyn, I thought I told you to stay home."

Hazel gestures for me to put her on the floor and after I do it she jumps in Harry's direction to hug him as well before sprinting inside his office with a giggle coming past her lips.

Oddly enough she enjoys visiting our workplace, she pretends to be us and types random stuff on the computer and writes down stuff on paper sheets, but her favourite part is whenever Zayn comes around so he can model for her.
