Chapter 22

Sofia's POV
"Why are you that hard?" I said as I keep on clicking the pen in my hand

I literally do not know what am I reading about, it just that I don't understand why history? Out of all the subjects, they wanted us to take history for an exam. History is quite fun to learn when you're listening to the story but there's so much information in just a single book

"Sofia where have you been?" said someone as they walk closer to me

"What are you doing here?" I said as I lift my head up "Is your practice over already ?"

"Well I was waiting for you outside for exactly 10 minutes" said James as he crossed his arms "Are you gonna sit here all day? Do you need someone in particular to carry you to our coach?"

I then rolled my eyes as I stood up "Then help me to put these books back" I said as I pass him some of the books that are lying on the table

"I don't go to your school remember-" said James as he hold my books

As I was telling James where to put books, someone then came towards us while running his hands through his hair.

"Hugo here" said James as he place the books onto Hugo's hand

"What- wait-What?" said Hugo as he quickly grab the books

"Here, pass me your school bag I'll wait for you" said James as he shove his hand out

I then look at James as he then smile with his hand out, still waiting for me to give him my school bag. As I pass him my school bag he then wink at me before going out

"Soo....."said Hugo as we both walk into the books aisle

"So what?" I asked as I put the books back

"I don't know-" replied Hugo

"So the sports boy has nothing to say already" I then tease him "Weren't you doing sorts of stuff before you went out of the library"

Hugo then rolled his eyes as he put the books back onto its shelf "Well what do you want me to say? I love you?"

"I love you too" I said as I put the books back

"What-?" Hugo then paused everything that he was doing as he look at me in the eye with a shocked expression "What did you just said?"

"I love you too?" I asked "Anything wrong with that? As best friend of course"

Hugo was still standing in the same position as he slowly let out a sigh while placing his hand onto his chest

"What the heck is wrong with you?" I asked as I turn to him

"Nothing important" said Hugo

I then let go of the topic as Hugo then place the last book onto the shelf. I quickly grab Hugo's hand and pulled him out of the library to meet up James who was waiting right outside

"Ready- Hugo's coming with us too?" asked James as he point to Hugo

"No I'm going back late-" said Hugo until I cut him off

"We can drop him off though, we are gonna pass by Colston anyway" I said

James then nodded his head as he gesture us to follow him. As we were walking to the coach, James was talking about the training session with his knight teacher. While they were talking, I then stop James just to get my phone out from my bag which James is still carrying.

As I turn on my mobile data, I found myself receiving lots of messages. They were from Eleanor, Owen, Daxton and a group which was made by Clio.

Sofia: I'm not that oblivious ☠️ at least my six sense did say they like me
