I walked back into my mom's room. Soengmin had fallen asleep in a chair next to her bed. I sighed placing a blanket brought from home on him. I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and quietly wished for her to come back to us. Sitting in a chair near the window I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to soft sobs. When I opened my eyes I saw Soengmin sitting in a chair with his head in his hands. I looked to my mom's bed, but she wasn't there.

"Where's my mom!?" I asked in a panic standing on my feet. Soengmin looks up at me tears running down his face and looking exhausted. He looks like he's been crying for hours. "Ana." He said quietly with a shaky voice. He stands up and pulls me into his arms. "Where's m-my mom?" I asked tears beginning to form. He hugged me tighter and began to tremble. "Where is she!? WHERE'S MY MOM!?" I started yelling. "WHERE IS SHE!?" I started thrashing around. "WHERE IS MY MOM SOENGMIN!? WHERE-"

"SHE'S GONE ANA!..... SHE'S GONE!" He yelled. "She's brain dead." He said that part quietly.

I froze when the words left his mouth. I didn't move in anyway, I don't think I even blinked. I let him hug me tighter and tighter crying on my shoulder. My tears run down my face but I wasn't crying. Putting a hand on his back I rub it and say it's okay in a monotone way. "Ana I-I'm sorry."

After a few minutes I took in a deep breath and sighed. "I wanna go home." He looked up at my expressionless face. He nodded gathering our things and grabbing my hand leading me out the hospital. When we walked outside it was gloomy and raining.

It's been weeks since my moms passing. We held a wake a few days after. You'd think after seeing family members I haven't seen in awhile I'd be a little happier. I couldn't find the strength to go to school or work. Minhyuk said I could take as much time as I needed and my school work was brought to me. I just sit in my room and stare at the ceiling all day long. Soengmin thrown himself into work he's barely home anymore. The house feels empty without them here. I heard the door bell ring but made no attempt to get up and open it.

Jihoon's POV

I rang her door bell. It's been about two weeks since I last saw or spoke to her. I waited outside for her to answer the door but she never did. I rang the door bell again, waited, but still no answer. I pulled out my phone and dialed her number. After a few rings she picks up. "Ana?" She hummed in response. "Are you home?" Again she answered with a hum. "Oh well I'm outside. I wanted to check up on you. Yu-Kwon and Ji-Goo said they have been calling you." "Oh." She finally spoke. "Ana come open the door, I wanna make sure your okay." It was silent for a bit then the door opened. I hung up my phone and walked in. When I saw her I was shocked by how she looked. She wore a cold stone expression, had lost weight and had dark circles under her eyes. She looked sickly and was probably weak.

"When was the last time you ate?" She shrugged walking to the living room. I grabbed her now small wrist and pulled her into the kitchen. Sitting her down at the table I rummged through her cabinets and refrigerator placing what little food she had in front of her.

"I'm not hungry." At that moment her stomach growled. She looked down. "Please eat." I said placing a hand on her shoulder. She looked at the food that was on the table and grimaced. I couldn't blame her the only thing edible was the bread, er well kinda.

"Want me to order something." She shrugged looking down at her hands. "I'll order some pizza."

"With pepperoni?" She asked quietly.

I smiled "Yes."

When the food arrived we sat in her room. She ate most of it but I didn't mind she hadn't eaten in who knows how long. After finishing we laid on the bed next to each other. "What happened?" I asked suddenly breaking the silence. She looked at me confused. "I mean... sorry... I was asking about... your-"

"It was a hit and run." She said quietly. "Did they find out who did it?" She shook her head. After laying there for a few mintues she turns to face me. Looking me in the eyes she suddenly moves her face closer. Before I knew it there was something soft on my lips. I wanted to pull away but couldn't. When I felt her hands tugging on the hem of my shirt I quickly moved away. "Ana, we can't do this." She sighed and laid her cheek on my chest. Burying her face in my chest I wrap my arms around her. She started shaking I could tell she was crying. I pulled her closer and she began to sob. "I didn't say goodbye..." She said into my chest. "What do you mean?"

"The d-day the accident h-h-happened. S-she dropped m-me off at w-work." I rubbed her back trying to calm her down. "We h-had an argument a-and I said I d-didn't need h-her and I n-never said g-go-goodbye or I l-love you." She was bawling my shirt was wet with her tears. I wanted to hold for as long as I could but this feeling of guilt started to come up.

Ana's POV

The next day I finally got up to get ready for school. I put on my uniform, combed my hair and left my empty house. I walked into class and everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at me. Making my way to my seat I heard whispers. This continued till lunch. I sat on the rooftop looking up at the sky. I heard multiple footsteps coming my way. Turning my head I see Jihoon, Yu-Kwon, and Ji-Goo standing there. I smiled weakly at them and they returned it. The four of us sat there for the rest of the school day not caring if we missed class.

Making our way out to the front gates we all stopped at the sight of a tall blonde guy. My heart started to beat fast. He saw us and walked over. "Yu-Kwon hey what's up?" He said giving Yu-Kwon a bro hug. He moved to give me a hug but Jihoon pulled me towards him causing Zico to glared at him. "I'm sorry to hear about your mom." I nodded and stared down at my hands. "Uhm I never had the chance to thank you for driving me home a few weeks ago." I said my cheeks warming up. "No it was no problem." He smiled up at me and I returned it. Jihoon grabbed my hand and started walking off. Zico grabbed my other hand stopping us from going any where. They both glared at each other before any one said any thing.

"Let her go she's go to rip in half." Yu-Kwon said pulling me by the shoulders.

"I just need to tell her something." Zico said. I looked to him waiting for him to continue. "I'm leaving for Japan." My eyes widened when he said that. "Oh... Uhm for how long?"

"A year or two." I suddenly felt sad but didn't know why. "Then I guess this is goodbye." I said holding out my hand. He took it in his and held it tight. He gave me a warm smile. "Not 'Goodbye' but 'See you soon'." He grabbed a pen that Yu-Kwon was holding and wrote something on my hand. When I looked it was a phone number. "Call me so I'm not bored in Japan." I nodded and he walked off. I looked down at my hand and a small smile appeared on my face.

After visiting my moms grave I made my to a little restaurant Jihoon told me to meet him at. Spotting him in a booth I walked up to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Hey I already ordered." He smiled up at me as I sat down. He held my hand over the table. "How was it?"

"It was good. I told her about you wanting to move in with me."

He chuckled. Our food arrived and we ate in silence. After eating we walked through a little park where kids were playing. We sat on a bench and watched as they ran around. "How do you feel about kids?" I looked at him confused causing him to laugh a little. "Their okay I guess."

"So should we have one?" He asked looking me in the eyes.
