"Stupid jerk." I mumbled under my breath.

"Unnie, why are you talking to yourself?" Nina asked from the back seat. We were on our way home from picking her up from school. After trying to get Yu-Kwon to tell me who it was that liked me he simply said, 'They should be the ones to tell you.' I said to my, imitating Yu-Kwons stupid face.

"What the hell does that even mean!" I yelled from frustration. Stopping at a red light I drop my head on the steering wheel with a thud.

"Are you okay?" I take a deep breath and raise my head, letting that deep breath out in a long sigh.

"I'm fine."

We sat in silence, waiting for the light to turn green. I looked in the rearveiw mirror, Nina was playing with her bow, pulling on the ribbons.

"Uhm Nina," She looks up letting go of her bow. "Can I ask you something?" Nodding she shifts in her seat.

"It's about Jihoon. Has he-"

The horn of the car behind me interrupts me. Driving down the street, I try to ask Nina the question again.

"Has Jihoon ever hurt you?" She kept quiet. "Is that why you ran away?"

"Yes." She said quietly. I glance at the mirror again and see Nina staring at her hands, a very sad expression on her face. "He would get mad and he would take it out on me."

"I'm sorry," I pause and try to hold back my tears. "You never should have went through that. You did nothing wrong."

Pulling up to the apartment, I turn the engine off and step out. Nina was already on the sidewalk waiting for me. She takes my hand, squeezing it tight, we walk into the building. We run into Kyung, who was likely taking his shift of keeping Jihoon away.

"Hey Kyungcumber." Nina said waving to him.

Kyung frowned. "You shouldn't talk to Jaehyo anymore." He patted her head and turned to me.

"So, how was work?" He asks shoving his hands in his pockets and following Nina and me to the elevator.

"It was fine." I said pushing the button. The doors open and we walk in. Nina pushes the button to my floor then stands between Kyung and me. Before the doors close the old lady from the front desk steps in.

"Ms. Park. This letter was dropped off while you were at work." She hands me a envelope that has a seal on the back. I thank her and she leaves giving us a smile. The doors close and we begin the climb up the building.

"Who is it from?" Kyung asks looking over Nina and my shoulder.

"It's from my professor." I said happily.

"Is it a love letter?" Nina asks looking at the envelope.

"Love letter?" Kyung repeats.

"It's not a love letter." I said stepping out the elevator when the doors opened.

"What if it is a love letter?" Ninas asks running up to me.

"Then I have to have a serious talk with my professor." I said opening my door. Kyung held it while we stepped in. Noticing a pair of male shoes lined up with mine I look to Kyung. He ignores my gaze, whistling and walking further into my apartment.

Walking into my living room, Zico is sitting on my couch. When notices me he quickly stands and walks up to Nina and me. He looked nervous for some reason.

"Did Jaehyo and the boys stop by the café?" He asks taking Ninas backpack.

"Yes. And next time don't send Jaehyo, Okay?" He nodded and smiled.

I sat on the couch next to Kyung, with Zico sitting on the right side of me, he plays with shirt. Nina sits at the coffee table doing a few work sheets she pulled out of her backpack.

"Homework on the first day of school?" Zico asks Nina. She sighs and nods. "If you need any help just ask me, Okay?"

"Okay." She said looking down at the paper with a pencil in her hand.

"Are you gonna open the letter?" Kyung asked leaning back in my couch.

"Letter?" Zico butts in.

"Her love letter." Nina says smiling. I throw a pillow and it hits her in the head. She looks up at me, smiling then sticking her tounge out at me before she grabs her things and runs to the kitchen.

"Love letter?" Zico asked with a even more nervous expression on his face. He looks at the envelope in my hand, his bottom lip jutting out a bit. I decide to play along and stand up.

"Yes a love letter. From my lover." I said in a faux love stricken voice. Kyung holds in his laughter while Zico looks pale. I walk to my room spinning around in circles as if I was struck with cupids arrow.

Zico's POV

"Wait Diana! That could be a pervert!" I yelled jumping off the couch and running to her bedroom. Kyungs laughter could be heard as I made my way down the hall. Her door was open and I poked my head around the corner. She sat in the middle of her bed. She had taken off her work shirt and was now in a tank and her work pants.

Her brows were knitted together as she read the letter. A tear rolls down her cheek and lands on the paper. I move to her side, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Did he break up with you?" I asked staring at her face. She looks up at me and laughs a little.

"It's not a love letter." She said smirking. "It's a letter from my professor."

I perk up and lean closer. Her scent filling my nose. "Is it about the intership?"

"Yeah."

"Did you not get it?" I asked furrowing my brows. She shakes her head and smiles.

"I got it."

"Then why are you crying." She wipes her face and turns to me. I hadn't realized how close we were until she rested her head on my shoulder.

"It's at the hospital my mom died at."

I nodded, not being able to say anything. My heart racing and my palms becoming sweaty, I manage the courage to speak.

"Diana," I said softly. She hummed in response. Resting my head on hers, I begin to speak again. "I have to tell you something."

"What is it?" She asked lifting her head to face me.

Heart pounding, I stare at her face, taking in her features. Her light hazel eyes to her small plump lips, from the way her light brown hair just sat there in perfection.

"I uh.. I-"
