this is a special chapter that i never posted here for some reason heh i actually uploaded it in my seventeen oneshots book but now i'm putting it in here since i realized some people might've not seen it there, it has been nearly a year since this book was finished so that's why it might have as much views as the other chapters

it takes place when wonwoo and minghao meet:)

minghao sighed tiredly at the sight of his test with a 47 "fuck algebra" he whispered and hid his test in embarrassment

"you should ask jeon wonwoo for help next time, worked amazingly for me" jinwoo his classmate said

"jeon wonwoo? who the hell is that?" the other asked

"he's the smartest guy in the whole school, has never gotten anything less than a ten, and he tutors for free, he's very good at it too, you should ask him for help and i doubt he'll deny, since you're a first year you probably don't know him, but he's a great guy" jinwoo replied

minghao nodded and started considering on asking the so called jeon wonwoo for help, but realized he had no other choice, he needed to raise his grades or his parents would scold him again

after a little investigation, he figured out where wonwoo spent his breaks, which was in the art cafeteria alone

in his break, he walked over to the art caferia he had never been actually been in and smiled when he saw how pretty it was, then he spotted wonwoo drinking some milk tea and using his phone

he walked over to him and cleared his throat "hi" he said softly

wonwoo looked up and stopped drinking only to return the smile shyly "hi" he said and stopped using his phone

"i guess you know why i'm here, jinwoo told me that you're a very good tutor and i was interested in some algebra tutoring only if you're okay with it of course" minghao said

"algebra? you're a freshman, right?" wonwoo asked

"i am" the younger replied

"of course i can help you, i love algebra" wonwoo smiled "do you want to come to my house for tutoring or did you have another place in mind?"

minghao's eyes lit up "you're house is okay, thank you so so much"

the other said he was welcome and then got a little surprised when minghao didn't leave, the people that needed his help usually left after asking for it

"and how come you tutor students? do you want to be a teacher or something?" he asked

now wonwoo was really surprised, no one had ever been genuinely interested in knowing anything about him since he entered high school

after explaining minghao gasped "you're a really nice person, i can tell you like cats by those cat pins in your backpack, do you have any as pets?" he asked

wonwoo smiled excitedly, not only did minghao ask him questions, he seemed really interested in knowing his answers

the younger was actually really interested, he didn't have any friends yet but wonwoo seemed so interesting and nice, he didn't know why the other was always alone

after talking the whole break, they agreed to go to his home after school, in fact, wonwoo would give him a ride to his house

they seemed to have gotten really comfortable with each other really quickly since they were already joking with each other

"so, do you have any crushes?" minghao asked and wiggled his eyebrows with a smirk

they were eating ramen at his house which wonwoo choked with the second those words left the younger's mouth

minghao opened his mouth widely with an excited grin "so there is someone" he said and giggled

the older blushed hardly and looked away while laughing "do you promise not to tell?" he asked

the other nodded quickly and opened his eyes widely in anticipation, he was flattered that the older would tell him since he looked like he was really shy, that must've meant he considered him trustworthy

wonwoo took a deep breath and covered his face "he's a first year like you, i don't know if you know him but his name is kim mingyu" he said

minghao thought for a while "is he that tall handsome guy with tan skin?"

the older nodded and giggled nervously "please don't tell anyone but since this year started and i saw him the first day i kind of crushed on him" he admitted

"why don't you talk to him? he seems not only handsome but really nice too, he actually defended me from that bully jisoo about two weeks ago" the other replied

"i could never" wonwoo said while he chuckled "i'm extremely awkward, you're the first person in my entire high school experience that i have held a friendly conversation with for more than five minutes"

"well, let me tell you what, as long as i live, you won't be spending any more breaks alone, that's a promise" minghao said

wonwoo giggled "that would be nice" he then paused and smirked slightly "and you? do you have any crushes?" he wiggled his eyebrows

the other chuckled "as a matter of fact, no, not yet, but someone does have a crush on me" he said smugly

the taller raised an eyebrow waiting for him to continue so he did "his name is wen junhui, he's a junior like you and i'm really only telling you this because he said it's not a secret and that the whole world should know" he giggled

"wen junhui? he doesn't seem like the flirty kind of guy" wonwoo said confusedly

"oh believe me when i tell you he definitely is, he said that i'm the most ethereal human being his eyes have ever seen and that we will get married some day, that i should give him a shot" the younger responded while laughing

that's when the taller laughed too "isn't that weird? like, did it creep you out?" he asked

"don't tell anyone" he responded with a tiny shy smirk and pursing his lips "but i actually kind of like it, i don't know why but i'm kind of considering it, i mean, he's hot and confident, who doesn't like that?"

"well, confidence is pretty attractive, so, why don't you give him a chance then?" wonwoo asked

"i don't know, i guess i'll think about it, i know it's childish but i'm not really into dating if it's not my soulmate" the other replied

"but what if-?" the older started seriously but bursted into laughter "yeah, you're right, but i guess a little fun wouldn't hurt"

"i guess not, but still, i can guarantee nothing serious is ever going to happen with him, what about you with mingyu? you think anything could happen even though he's not your soulmate?"

"i'm not ever even going to talk to him so yeah, that's not happening" wonwoo replied with a chuckle
