next day at hansol's house, his friends were teasing him from the recap he had told them about his date

"that's fucking embarrassing" seungcheol laughed out loud

"i can't believe she really told him you were a fat baby and shared anecdotes of you being the cutest kid out there" seungkwan said while looking at him with tenderness

"was he really cool with everything happening? if i were him i would've been terrified, especially because he's very shy" hansol said

"he said he could get through the dinner because my parents were very nice to him and made him feel at home" mingyu responded shyly

"you guys are seriously talking about his parents but ignoring the fact that they kissed? THAT'S HUGE" the oldest said excitedly

"spill the tea mingyu, is he a good kisser?" seungkwan smirked

"jeez, it was just a peck" the taller rolled his eyes "and it was his first kiss by the way"

his friends practically yelled "aawwwww" and then looked at him as if they were about to start singing 'tell me more'

"tell us more, come on, you guys are the cutest" seungkwan pouted while trying to act cute and looked at him as if he was the bonniest thing ever

"I ALREADY TOLD YOU GUYS OUR WHOLE DATE WITH ALL THE DETAILS, WHAT MORE DO
YOU WANT?" mingyu asked incredulously

"tell us how you felt mingyuuuu" hansol whined with a pout

he rolled his eyes playfully "i was on cloud nine, okay? his lips were so soft and warm, it felt so right"

once again his friends melt in softness over him and wonwoo before seungkwan spoke "i'm so happy for you guys, it's so nice you are both asexual and probably one of the cutest couples out there"

"to be honest, i was very relieved when he told me, he's so amazing, it's daggering how i didn't fall in love with him as soon as i met him" mingyu said sadly

"you didn't know the kind of person he was, and the fact that he avoided you so much didn't help" seungcheol said

"you're right, i just can't help but feel like i lost some valuable time of being with him" the taller chuckled "i don't blame myself though, he was the one that wasn't ready and i would never resent him for it either" he said

"that's valid, and if i was in your situation, i would try to make it up for both of you by making good memories" hansol said

"i just hope he enjoyed the date as much as i did" mingyu admitted

"of course he did, you've been his crush since forever, how can he not enjoy what he had been dreaming of for so long?" seungkwan chuckled

"well, maybe it wasn't what he was expecting, when you imagine something for so long you can create yourself crazy scenarios and have high expectations, so when it actually happens you can't help but feel disappointed" mingyu said feeling panicked wonwoo didn't like the date

"the only fake scenario that anyone created is you thinking he didn't like it, you're a very sweet person mingyu, stop panicking over dumb things, if he felt uncomfortable he would've told you or left when your mom invited him in" seungcheol said

"he's right, you overthink stuff all the time, just let yourself enjoy this and instead of worrying, try to relax and think positive things" hansol told him

"okay, i'll try to relax, it's not good for me to worry much anyway, i guess it's just the pressure because it was my first date ever and i want to know if i was good at it" mingyu replied shyly

"well, if you were good or not isn't really a priority, if he didn't like it what is he going to do? unsoulmate you?" seungkwan laughed

they all joined his laughter and then seungcheol spoke "i'm so glad you guys are finally together, it's cute"

"well, we're not together together, i mean we- wait- are we together? did the date mean we're like a thing now?" mingyu asked quickly with a shocked face

"you didn't ask him?" hansol asked

"uh, i didn't know it was a thing- i mean, i didn't know i needed to ask him" he said and touched his mark with a worried look "it's going to be so embarrassing if i assume we're a couple and we're not but it'll be so embarrassing for him if he assumes we're a couple and we're not, what should i do? both situations sound horrible" he asked

"well, first of all, decide something, do you want it? if it was completely up to you, would you like to be his boyfriend?" seungcheol asked

"ummm" mingyu thought "i guess? i- i don't know, no wait- i do, i mean i like him a lot, a date was enough to be sure of that" he clarified

"then you should ask him, honesty is going to be a very important factor in your relationship considering how you guys came together" seungkwan chuckled

"i will ask, don't worry, it'll be embarrassing but i hope it's worth it" mingyu said
