it was already dark and they were finally on clue number 16, the last one was number seventeen so they read a paper of a clue they had earned

"where this all started" seungcheol read the paper out loud and groaned "seriously? ugh, whatever, let's go" he said

they all followed him and got to the main esplanade where they had been when they got off the bus, plenty of students were there too, there seemed to be something written on the ground but everyone was pushing each other to see it

they tried to make their way into the crowd but it was no use, they had to wait until everyone else had read it and left 

a bunch of people started arriving to try and get in too but no one succeeded, people were pushing each other a lot making mingyu worried in case someone got hurt

a huge crowd of about 7 teams came running towards them and the people that were standing calmly while waiting beside them were pushed too

seungkwan tripped because someone had been pushed right into him but hansol caught him on time, seungcheol was pretty strong so he helped the person that bumped into him, however, someone bumped into mingyu making him groan in pain, he felt skin slap against his body, specifically, he felt a hand accidentally hit his bare neck making him trip too

he stood up from the floor and looked around him to see who had hit him but a lot of people seemed to be hurt, many of them were apologizing but no one apologized to mingyu

he helped some people to get up and then heard the principal say on his megaphone "WE HAVE FOUND A WINNER, CONGRATULATIONS TO HONG JISOO'S TEAM"

groans were heard among the students as they started waking away making mingyu sigh too "all this pushing for nothing" he said

hansol chuckled "at least it was fun he said

"let's go to our room, i want to take a shower, all this human contact made me sick" seungkwan said with an annoyed tone and slight pout

they walked towards the hotel and went inside, some hurt people were sitting there talking about how fun everything had been

however, jisoo and his team seemed mad "you're telling me we cheated for the reward to be a caratbong? what's this thing even for?" his friend asked angrily

jisoo shushed him and rolled his eyes which made mingyu, hansol, seungcheol and seungkwan start laughing

"i guess that's karma" mingyu whispered as they walked to their room

when they were finally there, they started taking off their extra clothes and changing into their sleeping ones

mingyu walked over to his bag completely shirtless when seungcheol yelped making him turn to see him quickly

"what's wrong?" hansol asked

but the older seemed to be as shocked as ever, he was covering his mouth in surprise and his eyes were wide open

"is everything okay?" mingyu asked while approaching him worriedly

they all came closer to him and started asking questions as to why he seemed to be so surprised so he sat down nervously

"i have to tell you guys something, but promise not to be too loud" he said with his voice slightly shaking

they all nodded so seungcheol took a deep breath and asked "mingyu, are you aware of that mark on your neck?" he gulped

seungkwan and hansol turned to see him and opened their mouths widely before the younger put a hand on both of their mouths trying not to yell

mingyu furrowed his eyebrows "what's wrong with my neck?" he asked in confusion and a little weirded out

"see it for yourself" seungkwan said out of breath, barely believing what his eyes were seeing

"if this is a joke, it's very funny guys" mingyu said sarcastically but curiosity won over him making him walk towards the bathroom to see himself in the mirror

the other three walked after him and mingyu turned on the lights of the bathroom only to reveal his neck with a soulmate mark

he stared at it for a few seconds and blinked twice

his face was expressionless as he left the bathroom with his friends following him worriedly, he sat on the bed calmly, grabbed a pillow, pressed it against his face and then

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH" he let out a muffled scream

hansol caressed his shoulder trying to calm him down and the other two just stared at him with shocked and worried expressions

after he was done, he panted nervously and seungcheol hugged him trying to calm him down, mingyu breathed heavily and caressed his neck

"who touched me?"
