he woke up immediately when he heard his alarm go off and did a little celebratory dance before running to his bathroom happily

he looked at himself in the mirror and splashed his face with cold water completely waking himself up, he then rinsed his mouth to deal with morning breath and proceeded to comb his hair

after putting on the outfit he had placed carefully beside his bed, he looked in the mirror "i look pretty decent" he told himself

he grabbed his bag and left silently not wanting to wake up his parents so early, and after closing the door, he smiled when he got a notification from the group chat, as always, it was seungkwan

"y'all getter get your asses here soon, i'm freezing" it said

mingyu giggled and wrote "i'm on my way" he sent it and then started walking quickly towards the bus station that was nearby his house

when he got there, hansol and seungkwan were hugging each other and as soon as they saw him called him over

"where is seungcheol? there's just about 15 minutes until 6" mingyu said worriedly

"oh, don't worry, his dad called him to talk about something, but he'll be back soon" hansol said

as if he had been invoked, seungcheol walked over to them quickly "we can get on the bus now" he said

teachers started signaling them to get on the bus so they did, fortunately, they got the seats from the back of the bus and celebrated in victory

seungkwan took out from his bag hot chocolate and a pair of blankets which he handed over to them "if you need anything, tell me, i came prepared" he said

"yeah, we can tell" hansol said and kissed his cheek sweetly

seungkwan bent his neck while touching his cheek and chortled before starting to cuddle hansol because it was cold, mingyu looked around to scan the people on the bus and recognized no one so he yawned and closed his eyes to fall asleep

he had been asleep for about an hour when seungcheol patted his shoulder "do you want pancakes?" he asked

he rubbed his eyes and looked at seungkwan who was holding a large container with at least 30 pancakes and chuckled "yeah" he said

seungcheol passed him one and he happily started eating it, when they had devoured all of them, seungkwan took out a laptop

mingyu started laughing "seriously, what do you not have in that bag?" he asked making seungkwan roll his eyes playfully

he played a movie, then another and then another, so, before they knew it, a teacher was telling them to carefully get out of the bus

they took their bags and followed instructions, and as soon as they touched the floor, a bunch of other students were already gathering in a circle

"attention everyone" they heard the principal say from a megaphone "this year, our beloved winter trip will be somewhat different, welcome to your first treasure hunt, teachers will give you instructions, you can team up but the limit of people is five per team" he said

everyone started talking to their friends excitedly or looking for a team, others just rolled their eyes and acted uninterested so mingyu turned to his friends "we should get started if we want to win" he said

"let's go leave our bags in our room and then, we can get started" seungcheol said and took out the paper a teacher had given him with the number of their room

they ran towards the hotel and searched for the room where they were staying, when they got there, they just threw the bags in and ran outside

a lot of people seemed to have started looking for the treasure so they asked a teacher for their first clue

"you can find the first clue near an icy place" she whispered and smiled at them

they started thinking and hansol immediately said "let's go to the ice rink" making seungcheol chuckle

"i forgot we literally have the most intelligent person in school in our team" he said and they all started walking quickly towards the ice rink
