"are you sure you don't need us to drive you there?" his mom asked worriedly

"no, mom, he already has a driver's license, remember he's a year older so don't worry" mingyu reassured

he had planned to have another date with wonwoo and wanted to take him out to somewhere they were both comfortable in for their second date

they hadn't been able to have a second date in the whole month they had been dating because school kept them extremely busy

the only inconvenient with mingyu wanting to take wonwoo out, was that he didn't have a driver's license because he barely had the legal age to drive and didn't even know how to, which meant the older was actually taking him to the place

he had originally planned the date's place to be a surprise but since wonwoo was driving him to it, he couldn't keep it a surprise

his heart stopped for a second when he saw the older park in front of his house in his car, something that mingyu had noticed in the month of being the other's boyfriend, was that he was rich

of course he would be at least a little rich considering the school he attended, but he also noticed little details that pretty much gave it away, like his phone, his car, his glasses, even his shoes

but mingyu liked that his style was simple considering he was very rich, probably not as seungkwan, but rich enough to spend as much money as he wanted without having to worry

it's easy for someone from his economical status to let it easily get up to their head, but that was definitely not wonwoo's case, which reminded him of seungkwan

the thing that made them different was that seungkwan didn't care to admit it or mention it occasionally even though he didn't mention it to brag about it, but wonwoo never mentioned it, if mingyu hadn't noticed those details, he still wouldn't know

that was something that made him crazier for the older, that he was simple in spite of his money and above all, humble

he walked over to the older's car with a smile and then heard his mom yell from behind "TAKE CARE OF MY BOY, WONYOO"

"mom his name is wonwoo" mingyu said as he turned around and looked at her with an embarrassed look

wonwoo lowered the car's windows and smiled at her "I WILL, NO NEED TO WORRY" he shouted back

mingyu tried to hide his flustered face as he opened the car's door and sat in the passenger's seat "sorry for that" he said shyly

"it's okay, her attitude is very wholesome anyway" wonwoo reassured

the younger put on his seatbelt and chuckled "probably, but she can be a handful sometimes" he giggled

"that doesn't mean she's not funny" the other giggled back and then spoke again "so, sarutahiko coffee?" he asked

sarutahiko coffee was a japanese cat themed coffee shop mingyu had stumbled upon on instagram, neither of them had ever heard of it, but it had really good reviews and he knew wonwoo would love to go, that's why he had suggested such place

mingyu smiled "yeah, sorry i couldn't keep it a surprise but i'll learn how to drive soon" he said feeling embarrassed

"you don't have to feel ashamed of not knowing how to drive, i don't mind driving, it actually eases my mind" wonwoo said sweetly

they stayed quiet for a few minutes as wonwoo drove them to the coffee shop until the older spoke "i'm glad you didn't want to go to somewhere fancy, it's not really my style" he said

"neither is mine, that's why i suggested this place that's perfect for us" mingyu replied happily "i hit the jackpot"

"you really did" wonwoo said as he parked in front of the coffee shop already amazed at the pretty place

they got off the car and mingyu grabbed his soulmate's hand tightly as they walked towards the door, when they opened it, a bunch of cats were there to welcome them

"oh, oh, what a- hi, you're so cute" wonwoo said with a high voice as he kneeled down to pet them

"let's get a table first and then we can pet them all we want" mingyu said sweetly and then looked around to see some other cats sleeping on the chairs or couches nearby

the older stood up and hummed in agreement with his eyes full of joy and excitement which made mingyu feel happy

they walked over to a table with cushioned seats and sat down "so, i'm guessing you like this place" the taller said

wonwoo giggled "i already love it, it smells so good inside here and all the cats are so cute, i hope the drinks are as good as they smell" he said

"i hope we have a good time" mingyu replied
