even when wonwoo pulled off a perfect expressionless face, mingyu had never imagined his face could get colder than that, but the face the older had in that moment proved him wrong

"wonnie?" he asked a little afraid

wonwoo had a very scary expression, he was gritting his teeth which made his jawline look sharp and his eyes made it clear how angry he was, not to mention he was breathing heavily and staring into nothing

mingyu never thought he would ever see his soulmate mad since he was pretty serious and shy but never got mad, but now that he was seeing it, it was scarier than his angry mom

the older snapped out of it and softened his expression as he looked at mingyu "sorry i just- i couldn't help but get furious- i- i better relax" he said as he took a deep breath

"it was a long time ago wonwoo, i'm okay now, see? i'm here and nothing is wrong with me, we both know that" he said with a soft tone

the older just tried to smile as he scratched his head and then pulled on his hair slightly as he exhaled "yeah, we do" he forced himself to smile

"your voice gets deeper when you're mad" mingyu said feeling intimidated which was extremely rare because he considered himself the dominant in the relationship, now he was doubting it

wonwoo let out a chuckle "i guess it does, sorry for getting mad, it's just that your story got me furious for some reason, i would've liked to be there and tell you there was nothing wrong with you" he explained and then smiled lightly

"i'm glad i went through it alone, i'm a different person because of it, i eventually realized there was nothing wrong with me and that helped me grow and stop caring about people's dumb opinions, so don't feel sorry" the younger explained with a soft smile

"so that's why you were acting weirdly?" wonwoo asked guiltily "i didn't know you had it so hard all these years because of your sexuality"

"well i did, but as i said, that's how i learned and grew, so, you don't need to pity me or anything" mingyu said and looked away with a smile still on his face

"i know that and i'm glad you trusted me enough to tell me, it's also a relief that you healed from something so traumatic and i'm so proud of you for that" the older replied and then was about to start the car but stopped himself

"can i get a kiss before i start driving?" he asked shyly and licked his lips

mingyu let out a short chuckle and nodded before leaning in to peck his lips, they had been dating for a month but the most they ever got to were pecks, not actual kisses, and neither of them knew how to ask for something more

however, that time, wonwoo couldn't help but whine when their lips separated "mingyu" he said with a pout and then gulped nervously

"what's the matter?" the taller asked as he raised his hand up to play with the other's hair

"i-" he stopped himself and sighed before chuckling painfully "i can't believe i'm actually nervous to say this but- i kind of want to kiss" he said the last thing in a quiet voice

"didn't we just- oh" mingyu said and caressed his mark when he realized "i also wanted to say that but didn't know how to, pretty childish i guess" he admitted

"but there's a problem" the older said awkwardly "this is so embarrassing" he whispered and rubbed the bridge of his nose "i- i kind of don't really know how to kiss" he said without making eye contact

mingyu grinned "you're so cute" he said and then continued "if you want to, i can teach you" he slightly smirked

his smirk apparently intimidated wonwoo because he slightly shrunk and hummed "ummm, that would be nice i- i think" he said in the tinniest voice ever

"so, just relax, okay? that's the first step, if you relax and go with it, it'll be easier, it doesn't matter if you're not the best at first, you'll eventually get it, plus it doesn't matter if the kiss is good or not if you're sharing it with someone that you like" the taller said

"okay" wonwoo said and took off his glasses "for better space" he said and giggled as he put them away

the older felt kind of ridiculous, how was it possible to have a driver's license and not know how to kiss? life was full of surprises and at times like that, he wished he could be more experienced

mingyu giggled too and then placed a hand on the right side of wonwoo's neck to make him lean in closer

the older stared at him with his ragged nervous breath and shut his eyes tightly "just do it" he said quickly
