"i literally can't give you any advice, that sucked" hansol admitted in their next break, they had tried to avoid the topic, but someone had to say it

"i told you guys but you wouldn't believe me, you had to go through an awkward situation to prove it" mingyu whined "and what the hell was that seungkwan? were you trying to intimidate wonwoo?" he asked

seungkwan just shrugged "no, i just thought he seemed too quiet and wanted him to speak more"

completely unconvinced, the taller just agreed "well, i know this might sound crazy but it's almost as if we're platonic" he said

hansol laughed "you and your soulmate are platonic?" he asked "him being your soulmate literally means otherwise"

"maybe they aren't platonic but they do suck together from what we just saw" seungcheol admitted 

"tell me about it" mingyu groaned "i just wish we could be normal and fall in love immediately" he said

"i have to go pee" seungkwan said and left

the younger left his friends and walked over to the art cafeteria where he knew wonwoo and minghao would be at

when he saw them, he smirked and then made an intimidating expression as he walked over to them, and when they saw him, both of their mouths stopped moving

he put a hand on his hip and looked at them sassily "i don't know what sick game you guys are playing to manipulate him, but if any of you two hurt kim mingyu-" he started

wonwoo was about to say something but was silenced when seungkwan placed an index finger over his pursed lips before leaning closer to both of them

"i will cut you" he said without any hint of it being a joke

after a few seconds of terrorized silence, minghao earned the courage to talk "seungkwan, please let us explain"

the younger raised an eyebrow "is there any excuse for manipulating my friend?" he asked

"no, but i can give you my reason, please leave minghao out of this, it's my fault" wonwoo pleaded "i'm scared, okay? i'm fucking scared of him, i've liked him since before even knowing he was my soulmate and when he gave me the mark it was too much, so yeah, i know it's a shitty excuse and it doesn't justify lying to him, but i'm really scared" he said

seungkwan's face softened a little but was still serious "okay, i'll let you tell him but i hope you know this can't go on for long" he said and turned around before leaving

he was immediately relieved that the other two didn't mean any harm to mingyu and even started liking wonwoo a little

he was really whipped for mingyu and just genuinely seemed scared, not evil or manipulative, so he decided to give him some time

even if it meant he also had to lie to mingyu

just as he was about to return to his friends, the bell went off "fuck this huge ass school" he said and headed back to class
